We didn't stay here, so this is only a review of the food.
Firstly, the decor is very up-market - lots of grey Farrow & Ball with silver ornamentation. Classic and classy, while not being ostentatious in the slightest.
Secondly, we found the prices gave excellent value for money considering the fantastic quality. A couple of the most beautifully presented starters - my scallops on belly pork were memorable. For two starters, 2 mains, 1 bottle of Malbec (which was superb), a half of beer, an additional glass of white and a couple of coffees came to only £93, including a 10% tip.
Thirdly, the quality of the food was excellent. This was one of the best meals my wife and I have ever had. No complaints whatsoever.
Lastly, service. Prompt, courteous and efficient. I know it's the done thing these days to call guests "guys", but I do prefer sir and madam - a generational thing, but not a big issue.
All-in-all an excellent establishment for an evening meal.
