So many good things! The proprietors (Carl and Maria) were kind and approachable, the room well-decorated, the beds comfortable, the breakfast delectable, the property pretty, and the price very reasonable! Stay here if you can.

We have just returned from a four night stay at Forest Farm. Originally, we had not intended to spend the whole of our short break there but found the place ideal for us. The hosts were charming and very helpful. Carl provided us with so many excellent recommendations for places to visit and to eat we could have stayed for a month!

Our room in the farmhouse was large and comfortable. The premises are not plush but lovingly decorated and quite simple which we liked very much. Breakfast comprised lots of different breads with jams and yogurts plus orange juice and coffee: delightful and more than adequate.

Giverny was not crowded as we had imagined and so our visit to Monet's garden was wonderful. Hotel Baudy was our favourite eating place with its own lovely garden.

Thank you Carl and Maria for making our stay so memorable. Good luck with the new baby and with your continued restoration work!

Room Tip: The very pink room has a double and a single bed plus bathroom with shower. Lovely big windows and a...

This was a great place to stay. We arrived late becaue of a delayed ferry and had missed our evening meal, and the owner searched her fridge for cheese, yoghourt etc to make us a picnic supper (for which she didn't ask any payment). The rooms were clean, simple and attractive - no ghastly satin cushions and nylon frills but really lovely fresh decor (at least in the two that we had). Breakfast was very good, too. The house (which is a bit more attractive than the picture suggests, in my view) stands in a picturesque old farmyard, with garden tables and chairs on a bit of lawn, and the farm itself in a very pretty and unspoilt village. Extraordinarily good value in this area around Giverny.
Tip: if you use a GPS (sat nav) which tries to direct you down a very rough farm track through fields, don't do what we did and follow it. You can get there by normal roads and keep your car in one piece.

We can highly recommend this lovely place. All was very nice: the room, the varied breakfast, the peace and tranquility, and the friendly owners. Good value for the price, specially considering how expensive the chambres d´hotes are in Vernon or Giverny.

We stayed here for 2 nights in the family suite. It was a perfect arrangement for our family of 4 with a double bed in one room and two twin beds in the other (no door where the twin beds are located, but the parent room is private with a door). The suite was clean and simply decorated with beautiful tall French windows. Updated bathroom with a shower; no tub if you need it for babies. This is a comfortable and charming place to rest and breathe in the country air, and very convenient location to visiting Giverny. Delicious breakfast of yogurt, jams, cheese and butter, cereals, milk, juice, coffee, and with breads and pastries that are delivered fresh each morning by a very good bakery. We all had more than enough to eat each morning. Carl and Marie both speak English and were warm and friendly; they have children of similar ages to ours so were attentive in that regard. The only thing that would have made the stay better for us would be a small refrigerator in the room to store food/drinks we had with us. We would not hesitate to recommend Forest Farm to friends.

A fantastic well run B&B where nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the peaceful countryside surroundings. Carl & Marie were extremely friendly and offered a fantastic breakfast each day. Their knowledge of the local area was helpful and we both enjoyed our short stay. We will definitely visit Forest Farm again and hopefully stay longer.

Great location--so close to Giverny yet feels like deep countryside--quiet with starry skies shining through the wide casement windows. Picture-perfect village, and a charming farmhouse and out-buildings that Marie and Carl are lovingly restoring. Room was fresh, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Marie and her mother were extremely attentive and friendly.
