Review of Saddlers B&B
5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 16 Apr 2018via mobile
Thank you, Millie and Tim, for making our stay so pleasant. As well as providing excellent accommodation and breakfasts, you made us more than welcome. Many other B&B owners could do with your thoughtful eye for detail and your ability to talk with your guests. We really enjoyed chatting with you, and appreciate the time you spared us. As you know, we like West Sussex a lot and we'll see you again this year. Your plans for growing the business sound very good and we look forward to inspecting the field facilities. Very best wishes to you both, Nigel and Gwynne

My 13 year old daughter Zoe and I stayed here on the penultimate day of a 4 day hike.

We were greeted with genuine warmth by Milly and our eyes lit up as she showed us around. Everywhere was light and airy, beautifully and elegantly decorated and furnished, whilst still retaining its character and history, also spotlessly clean.

Our room was very comfortable and luxurious and our en-suite bathroom was spacious with an array of bath products, for Zoe especially to choose from!

We visited the Fox and Hounds pub for an evening meal, which is only a 5 minute stroll into the village. The food was very good and sensibly priced.

After a very restful night, Milly prepared us a delicious smoothie and cooked breakfast and a lunch bag each for our onward travels. We also really appreciated her taking the time to have a friendly and relaxed conversation with us, another lovely personal touch, and the added bonus of meeting Monte the Schnauzer.

Thanks Milly, it was really special and I would highly recommend a visit here to anyone. We were only sad we could not stay longer, but I can guarantee we will return.

On arrival at this lovely B&B Milly could not have given me a warmer welcome. The room was beautiful, the facilities were all new and very stylish. The bed..... cor what can I say about that, the comfiest bed I have slept in in ages. Breakfast was brilliant. Such a warm and welcoming couple and Monty the puppy was a real treat. I can't recommend highly enough.

This beautiful B&B ticks all the boxes for me, it’s an attractive building which has been beautifully restored and modernised with the guests comfort in mind. This lovely place offers luxury, comfort and class and the hostess Milly is warm and welcoming.
I can honestly say I had one of the best nights sleep ever in the luxurious bed with bed linen that shows how much thought and care Milly has put into her guests comfort. I can’t wait to visit again!

What a gem. Newly refurbished with attention to every detail. House has loads of history, walking distance to top pub with great food, walks on the downs very close to Chichester. Appreciated safe parking too. Adored it.

Room tip: Loved Goodwood but all three were lovely

We stayed at Saddlers B&B when going to the Goodwood Revival - the location is perfect for Goodwood. We stayed for 3 nights and found Tim and Milly to be warm, friendly and very genuine. The house has lots of history and has been renovated to a really high standard. The room was lovely, really tastefully decorated and the bed was just amazing - so comfortable. The shower was refreshing with lovely toiletries to pamper yourself with. The room was light and airy, it was lovely. Breakfast included lots of local produce and was very tasty with plenty to choose from. There were cut flowers in the room which I thought was a lovely touch and showed just how much Milly and Tim thought about the details of making our stay really special.
