Our third visit and what better introduction to Kerala and India could you dream of. From the welcome on arrival from JC or Victor , the superb service and accommodation , the special and varied cuisine for that's what it is ! The tranquility of it all , lovely extensive walks, enjoying the workings of a live coffee plantation, idyllic swimming pool and setting ,it is indeed a stay to be remembered and savoured . Yes the tree houses are extra special , but all the accommodation is well appointed and desirable. Overall, the skill with which the family and staff create within you, a sense of warm wellbeing and joy to be there, and desire to return is quite wonderful . All being well we shall return like a shot! Well done to you all at Tranquil

Great for rest/retreat. Helped immensely in building up team morale. The weather, be it in the wet or dry, was superb. Hiking trails aplenty. Special attraction were the caves.
fantastic hospitality; better than home ! While quality of the furniture & fittings were of top quality.

Kerala has been described as God's own country. If so Tranquil resort could be where God comes when he want a break from the endless requests for help!

Wonderful place to breathe the fresh air, walk alone in hundreds of acres of coffee plantation, enjoy authentic Kerala food and meet people from different parts of the world, all who have come to do the same thing. One is able to get into a state of relaxation that one is rarely able to achieve in our every day life.

The hosts are wonderful! Friendly, warm and always with an interesting story to tell. They make a huge difference to your stay.

If you want more than just a room try the tree house or the cottage a few minutes walk from the main house. The cottage is where we stayed; lazing in the hammock reading or sitting in the verandah is a great way to spend a few hours with friends and family.

This 'homestay' is far more than the name suggests. The whole experience is more like
staying in a houseparty at a very well-run country house; the hosts are all absolutely charming
and the staff are excellent and well trained - nothing is too much trouble. The food, both
Indian and European is delicious and the breakfast marmalade is better than my own home-made!! We much enjoyed evenings chatting with other guests, and a highlight of our stay
was the most interesting tour of the coffee drying areas with the insight into the life on a coffee
plantation which Victor gave us, if you visit don't forget to ask him to do the same for you. And,
by the way, the laundry service is absolutely marvellous.

Room Tip: We stayed in the bungalow, which was perfect for two couples, a five minute walk from the main house.

This is the most wonderful retreat to relax & if you want, plenty of marked walks from the easy to hard.
It is run to a very high standard by Victor, JC & the family & staff, the whole things is very professional but in a homely way.
Rooms are lovely & the food is excellent.
Have an early evening drink in the gardens with the other travellers.
This place is just perfect & the best & friendliest place we have ever stayed in the world.
What a treat it would be to come back & spend more time here.

Room Tip: All rooms are great but if you can, try one of the two tree houses. The views are wonderful.
