Lisle Combe is tucked away amongst the trees, with an uninterrupted sea view. It's ideal for those who want time to relax and catchup, but is also great for families as there is loads of outside space for children (and adults) to explore. The beach is just a field away and the Botanical Gardens are within walking distance, along with Steep Hill Cove, which has a cafe selling the best coffee and ice creams.
Ruth and Rob are excellent hosts and have lots of ideas to help you enjoy your stay. The house is so interesting with spacious, comfortable rooms, that are quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is always freshly cooked and a special diet caused no problem at all.
Lisle Combe is a secret getaway where children can be children, climbing trees and making dens, adults included too! But it is also quiet and a special place for those who just want time for themselves.

This is a wonderful historical house on the south coast of the Island. It's a fab location to explore the beautiful coastline and the attractions on the island. The traditional home cooked breakfast was a great start to a days walking, the beds were comfortable and there was a general feeling that nothing was too juch trouble. We will definately be back.

Room Tip: Our room had a sea view

Lisle Combe is a stunning, historical house hidden on the South coast of the Isle of Wight. A genuine, warm welcome from your hosts Ruth and Rob Noyes (Rob's grandfather was the poet Alfred Noyes!) The house is absolutely gorgeous; it is quiet, comfortable and oozes charm. You have your own key to come and go as you please and can really relax and do your own thing. I can't recommend it enough and will definitely be back.

Myself and my family regularly stay at Lisle Combe and we always receive a warm welcome and are made to feel very special. The house itself is amazing, situated in a beautiful spot and our room had a view of the sea. Breakfast is great cooked to order and served in a splendid dining room around a table that was made for entertaining and socialising. Meandering down to the beach through the garden is always an adventure with many different things to see whichever way you choose to go! Being able to laze around with so much space for the children to run around in such a peaceful setting is a joy. Lots of things close by to walk to but nowhere is too far in a car! Looking forward to the next time already
