Couldn't be more excited about this place at (literally) the end of the road in the Luberon Valley. You come here to take long walks on the many trails, enjoy the quality food on one of the terraces and relax with a good book at the huge pool. Since it used to be a farm a long time ago, a lot of the rooms are very special, so ask to see a couple of different ones if they have more than one available.

Also there are plenty of small markets at the nearby villages and if you need some serious shopping as well – Aix-en-Provence is less than an hour away by car. The place is family owned and has been there for more than 50 years, but be aware that it’s not a spa or a deluxe hotel. If you need that, then please don’t come here. Having said that the rooms are cleaned carefully every day and the food is rustic and authentic. Please note that this place is a lot cheaper than many of the nearby options.

It’s hard to describe the feeling of the place – you need to experience it for yourself, but it is so relaxing and also great for bringing kids along.

We found this auberge a code tally and couldn't have been more pleased awed or enchanted by this beautifully authentic, accommodating and soothing paradise. The rooms are gorgeous, the view stunning, and the service impeccable! Nature lover's beware, this place is stunning. If you're looking to relax, this is the spot, and we look forward to future vacations here year after year. Thank you to the entire staff for keeping this place real, and inviting!! We'll see you soon for sure!

Still untouched by the grasp of tourism, and hidden in the very heart of the Luberon mountains. The Auberge des Seguins is a centuries-old gem, a postcard of a place that sets you back in time, a feeling of a hamlet more than a hotel; and it's the best way to get acquainted with the network of walking paths that zigzag across truffle oak plantations and thyme-laden summits.
Over the past ten years I've spent over 50 nights here, and having stayed in dozens of other hotels and guest houses in the region, I would argue that there's no better place to stay if you want the most memorable and authentic experience of Provence.

Spent two nights in this wonderfully situated provencal auberge. The overhanging cliffs are somewhat reminiscent of the canyons of Zion National Park. The hiking trails which start from the auberge take you up to the Fort de Buoux and beyond with amazing panoramic views. We had a quiet, pleasant double room with good facilities. The welcoming pool was great after a long day's hiking. The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful - they recovered a lost pair of earrings and kept them until we could pick them up on our return journey. Highly recommended for those who enjoy wonderful scenery and outdoor activities.

We arrived here on horse back down the gorge. Some people had opted for the cheaper version of our holiday and some the more expensive. My group was in the cheaper section and so we stayed in the dormitory. It was very clean and very comfortable. There probably was 20+ beds in there but there was only 4 of us and the guide, the night we stayed. It was lovely. The bunk beds were clean and comfortable. The toilets and showers clean and there were two showers and two loos. I expect it is not as comfortable if it is full up but it was great. It was a hot night and we had all the windows open and listend to the river. The germans had a bit of a singsong in the camping park late evening but it didn't really disturb us. Having had 4 really hot days riding the pool was fantastic. This location is fabulous. The food in the restaurant is really good. Exactly as an auberge should be. The rest of our party stayed in the hotel section. They thought it was nice too. We got to eat breakfast under the walnut tree on the patio and there was plenty of everything, croissants, yogart, jam, honey, bread, coffee, hot milk, tea etc. Our horses were well catered for here too. If anyone feels a need to grizzle about this place then they need to get a life and do some more travelling.

Room Tip: If you need quiet to sleep then pay for the more expensive rooms and don't choose the dormitory...

A unique and utterly breath-taking environment. However, we had come for peace and quiet yet were not informed of the fact that a large group of Salsa dancers would be present for their annual week-long workshop. One of the owners said she informed prospective guests over the phone when reservations were underway, but unfortunately when our time came to reserve, we had the other owner on the phone who did not bother to inform us - thus we left, the second night.
