We booked as part of a large family trip during the ski season, we had been to the resort before and always stayed in luxury chalets (costly aswell). This property is shown as individual apartments but was more like a hotel. Our room was on the top floor and had two double rooms and a huge lounge with a dining area and sofa bed. There was a large family bathroom, ensuite to one other room and a large balcony facing the slopes. All the equipment in the room was in a nearly new condition as was the flat screen tv. Everything was ultra clean on arrival and the staff in reception were ever helpful. There is a bar for après ski and a small but clean indoor pool and spa. I would have awarded this property as excellent other than that the bar closed at 8pm every night. This seemed early and meant that we had to either all go back to the room or walk into the village (which means putting ski gear back on). The property is a short, steep uphill walk to the lifts but a courtesy bus runs every 5 minutes so this is no problem. The best thing is the price, about €750 for the apartment (sleeping 5) for a week in February

We satayed at Le Ruitor fom 1 to 8 march, 2014. The location, the diferent services offered, the decoration of the reception (amazing), the confortable apartments (beautifull views!) and the fantastic and well kept spa area worth the price we payed. But is the friendly service what really makes the difference. It is rare, from my expirience, to find in a sky station such a friendly group of people who really work hard to make your holidays comfortable. We were impressed with the staff when they helped us to find medical attention for our son. But when one of the members came to Val d'Isere whith us just in case we had problems to undestand french... Wow, this never happened to me in a Meribel 5* . Much more than friendly and helpull. Personal, I would say.
No need to say that we will come back next year, for sure

Room Tip: A52, the apartment we stayed, is great for a 5 members family. Confortable and incredible mountains...

This is our second visit and our good memories from last year held true this Feb half term. The apartments are comfortable and cosy with breathtaking views and the pool and spa are beautifully clean and well kept. The service is friendly and welcoming. Access to the slopes is easy. The under cover garage is also very welcome at the end of a long drive from the UK. We highly recommend Le Ruitor.

As a family of 5 we stayed in a T3 apartment over Feb half term.
Getting to the piste and lift was fine and the shuttle service worked well. Being pretty new the place is in very good condition. Only niggle was a few things missing from the kitchen - no sieve, rather nasty tin opener... But apart from that very good - excellent and very friendly service - will book restaurants for you. Lovely swimming pool and spa, good ski room with heated boot lockers.
Also, bakery delivery every morning to collect in reception.

We stayed at Residence Le Ruitor as part of a 4 day ski-ing break in Sainte Foy between Xmas and NY 2013. The service prior to our arrival was great with all our questions promptly answered by email. Check-in was all very straightforward although we arrived off peak. Staff were very friendly and helpful relatively inexperienced and knowledge of the resort itself was quite limited. The apartment was as described and quite comfortable, although we had a couple of power cuts and the wi-fi didn't work for most of the time. Neither caused us huge problems and staff did all they could to fix the issues, which were largely out of their control. The ski-room lockers for drying boots etc were extremely useful as was the underground parking. Daily bread to order, the Raclette set and games to borrow, weather information etc was all very useful. The spa facilities were very pleasant although very noisy at peak times with lots of young children in the pool in particular. The beds were - as others have commented - firm, but that is very much a matter of preference, which suited us anyway. The sitting area could do with another comfortable chair as the sofa only fits three people. I would say 4 people is the comfortable maximum for the apartment we had even though it could sleep 6. I would also suggest asking for an apartment in building A as building B has not direct lift access and involves a lift to the second floor, a walk to building B (albeit inside) then another lift. These apartments are really well placed for the slopes and the main lift and we would certainly stay here again.

The Residence Eco Le Ruitor is extremely well located in Ste-Foy. Only a short distance from the main lift with a convenient shuttle bus to get there in the morning and ski-in at the end of the day. The apartments are very comfortable, attractive and well equipped. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the facilities are excellent. Despite the small size of the resort there is plenty of skiing both on an off piste. It's a great resort for families as the town is small and it doesn't attract those looking for clubs and bars in the evening. (full disclosure - we are owners of an apartment in this building - that's how much we love it!)

We drove from the home counties in the UK and stayed for 7 nights. The presentation and finishing touches at le Ruitor make it feel genuinely 4*- we couldn't agree more with the rating. The panoramic views from our west facing balcony were spectacular.

We didn't mind the 300m walk to the slope with 1 infant and 2 older children under 5. We could have taken the free shuttle bus but really - 300m!! It was quicker to walk and more fun for the children. Makes for a nice warm up and cool down.

The ski resort is superb for families and just what we required as our children were on ski's for the first time. Minimal lift queues, relaxed atmosphere and well priced adult lift passes. Children under 7 years old ski for free.

Meanwhile back in the residence, the pool was great for the kids when the weather was at it's worst and the sauna and steam room were spot on for us adults seeking a bit of R&R. Very clean, very nice environment to unwind although unfortunately not open all day...and that brings me on to the downsides.

The in-room Wifi was dead slow so don't plan to depend on it - take a book or gaze at the stunning views instead. The reception opening hours are peculiar and having only one toilet in the apartment made for a bit of queuing at times but all these things you adapt to quickly. And the hard bed thing - it's really not worth a mention I don't think. It's a bed and it's firm. We slept just fine. I wouldn't have mentioned it if others hadn't brought it up.
