I cannot say enough about Playa Nicuesa. It is a beautiful wonderful lodge with terrific people, accommodations , food and things to do. It is hard to get to but that is the price you need to pay to get to wilderness rainforest. You also must be able to do well without some conveniences like air conditioning, wifi and hair blowers (for my wife). But that is not only a small price to pay but it also creates the experience.
My wife and I spent 6 terrific days hiking, kayaking and just relaxing at Nicuesa. We met really interesting people and saw gorgeous sunsets, birds and flowers. We have been to many places and Nicuesa ranks way up thereMore
