Description: Welcome to Dwight, Lake of Bays, Muskoka. Ontario. We offer a full breakfast, fresh baked goods, and lunch. Our soups, burgers, chili, salads, baked goods are all made fresh. Our atmosphere is casual and friendly. Our patio is relaxing and sunny. We are worth the drive to Dwight! We are conveniently located in Dwight on Hwy 60, minutes from Algonquin Park or Huntsville. We also have a gift shop to browse through. Our gift shop has something for everyone including moose lovers. We have a beautiful motel (Dwight Village Motel) directly beside us. Relax at the nearby Dwight Beach on beautiful Lake of Bays, hike a trail in Algonquin Park, take a scenic drive, or explore the local snowmobile trails. Pick a season to enjoy Dwight, Muskoka!

“No moose on the menu”
Reviewed 11 March 2014 via mobile

This place is as much of a gift shop as a restaurant. If you need a gift or a souvenir and a bite to eat its ok. The food is ok and decently priced. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich that comes on a multigrain bun, no fries though you have to order them separate. We were having pop which wasn't on the menu. I asked her and her reply was that she "must have forgot" to put that on the menu. They did have it though, albeit in a can.

Thanks for stopping in at our family restaurant.
We offer both sandwich combos or just a sandwich - both you can add on extra sides like homemade Soup, Home fries, Jack Daniels Beans or Salads. Sorry though no moose meat, but we are located in a prime moose watching area! Happy trails!

“Fresh Tasty Food”
Reviewed 2 March 2014

We stopped in for lunch mid-week. This place has a great menu, fresh food, fast friendly service and reasonable prices. It really doesn't get any better. There are several other decent eateries close by, but this is my new favourite.

“Fantastic breakfast, nice atmosphere”
Reviewed 16 February 2014 via mobile

We were snowmobiling and stopped here for breakfast. What a nice quaint place, very homey and two fireplaces. We had eggs&bacon and moose cakes (pancakes) and everything was great! Will definitely be back.
(It's right on a snowmobile trail off Trail 77, well sign posted.)

Thank raggarbil

“Fresh and Fabulous!”
Reviewed 11 February 2014

After a day of skiing and a long restful sleep who wants to make breakfast?? NO ONE...

So our group of 8 went to the Moose Cafe in Dwight for a Sunday breakfast. The food was so fresh and fabulous....all bakery goods fresh from the amazing and historic Henrietta's. The bread was stunning!

We enjoyed flawlessly done eggs, ridiculously fresh pancakes and HUGE lucious French Toast...coffee is available on command from the roaster bins at the counter....juice fresh, authentic back bacon a la Canada...MMMM what else can I say? Divine!

“Hidden Gem!”
Reviewed 9 January 2014

Probably the best restaurant in Dwight, reasonable, fresh and very tasty and being chef I am particular. Took some friends of ours for a takeout breakfast and lunch, my friend is also a chef, friendly, and very satisfying! We live in the area and this is your best bet.
