“Horse abuse at it's worst, do not support this establishment !”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

My wife and I rode here in the fall of 2013. Not only were we amazed at how hard the owner worked these horses but as well, she did not seem to care! We drove by in the middle of January and the horses had no shelter from the elements, covered in frozen mud and ice. PLEASE do not support her horse factory, of which she sells 80% of the horses to slaughter houses when the riding season was done. Tracie Parrott should be charged with animal abuse in the highest manner. Just drive by and you will agree , her so called farm is criminal at best! She even boasted about her lack of concern for her animals welfare and fate. A very cold hearted woman that should be locked up so she can do no more harm to these defenseless, trusting horses.

“Be aware of where you ride”
Reviewed 3 November 2013

My family and I had a horrible experience at Algonquin Highlands Trail Riding. The ride was not enjoyable at all because the horses were being asked to do too much. Next time we will try mountain biking instead. Mountain bikes do not get killed off in the winter to support this industry because most farms like this one are too poor too keep them. Mountain bikes cost $12 for the whole day.

“Healthy horses, great trails, excellent guide.”
Reviewed 11 October 2012

We were first time riders and Tracie, her staff as well as Romoe and Fencer took great care of us. The fall colors from the veiw points were beautiful. We will return every time we are in the Oxtongue Lake/Algonquin Park area.
