The location is great, lake front lovely cottage. Laura is very friendly and welcoming. Weather was a bit hotter than we expected so had some mozzies problem on the first day but the rest of our stay was fantastic. would like to return with my mum again! thanks for a wonderful cottage stay!
All the comforts of home with all the great outdoors. Very relaxing beautiful sunsets off the dock . Swimming, campfires at nite and so much to see in the area . I will be coming back again have enjoyed the cottage twice now so in love with it.
My family and I had a wonderful time at this cozy cottage. It offered wonderful views of the lake from sunrise to sunset, the large windows offer an amazing scenery while you enjoy breakfast and the view at the dock is even more extraordinary. The kids had a blast swimming in the lake. I wasn't so lucky while fishing, but there's always next year :) 5/5 Stars!
We had a very nice cottage experience in this cozy home. We will be back again in autumn. It's in a beautiful sunset area and close to the city Huntsville. Very convenient .
Laura was very informative with what was accessable at her cottage. Everything was there, minus the rain overall was a great clean environment. Close to everything .. Huntsville for ice cream. Scenic drive around lake of bays and a visit to their brewery. Once the sun came out a nice day trip at Algonquin was perfect. Highly recommended.
Had a great time, the cottage was clean and everything was as advertised. The kids loved the bunk beds and you have a perfect view of the sunset over the lake. The bugs were a little pesky (its that time of year) so we didn't go canoeing but we did visit Algonquin park which is a short drive away.
The well equipped and homely cottage stands back from the lake, surrounded by trees, is comfortable and ideal for a quiet retreat. Nearby amenities were adequate with Huntsville in easy reach to add more variety.
The surrounding countryside provided endless opportunity for swimming, walking, cycling or just relaxing.
Our stay was spoilt only by the hungry persistence of the local bug population whch laid redundant many of those outdoor opportunities. Non-Canadians be warned especially in May and June!
