This hotel is very basic, but the welcome was wonderful. The proprietors are in the midst of giving the hotel a bit of modernisation, within a reasonable budget, a so there are new room doors and keys (had a bit of fun as the doors don't have numbers on yet! The rooms have no en-suite, but the price reflects this and there was a clean loo a short distance down the corridor from my room.
Just like the 1960s - in the best sense.
I obtained the rooms when everywhere else in the area was full, precisely because the rooms are not en-suite or anything over fancy. Euro 30 per room
Also there were humble apologies that the bathroom was out of use for refurbishment but all rooms have a 'lavabo' hot and cold water basin with soap and towels.
On request, an evening meal was provided - this was Euro 18 for a nice Pork steak with potato fricassé, with house red, beer, water etc, and a nice chhese course to finish.
