Can't rate Glebe house highly enough. Wonderful warm welcome from Emma and Chuck, stunning views overlooking a haha with cows too - fantastic. Comfy house and rooms. Superb food. We hope to be back very soon.

Room Tip: ask for a room overlooking the view

We are three couples who meet annually somewhere in England and this year we found ourselves in heaven. Wonderful views, comfortable rooms, delicious food and welcoming hosts. From sitting on the lawn having afternoon tea, through swimming in the heated pool to canapes with our Pimms on the same lawn before dinner life doesn't get much better than staying at Glebe House! We were there for three nights and all left intending to return.

This is what you will be looking for. It is a slice of heaven, set in a glorious quiet corner of Devon, boasting the most fantastic views of rolling hills and pastures green. The hosts, Emma and Chuck, are extremely welcoming, providing yummy food and home comforts. The house is just wonderful, the rooms comfortable and homely. It's a great place to unwind and relax. Do go and see for yourself.

It's like the moment when, after a busy day, you've put the children to bed and sit down with a glass of wine and start to relax. As soon as you wind your way up a the lane towards Glebe House you start to unwind, you are then welcomed by Chuck & Emma who make the world a better place, a lovely tea on their lawn overlooking a wonderful valley, the house was lovely and welcoming Emma & Chuck made you feel like old family friends.
We stayed two nights and I can't recommend this place highly enough.
Emma cooked us two lovely breakfasts and a sumptuous two course meal.
Worth every penny.

This B & B is in a delightful part of the county and the room I had had wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. The room was spacious and comfortable; the breakfast (complete with freshly picked figs, was delicious and the use of the garden as well. I was in need of space & quiet and Glebe House & its charming owners provided this and more.

This is a B&B where the charm of the host is its crowning glory (Chuck was away when we stayed, so Emma was our sole host). Glebe House is lovely: spacious and comfortable and with glorious views of the surrounding Devon countryside. Our room was spotlessly clean and warm and the selection of teas and coffee on our hospitality tray most impressive; and we really appreciated the tiny fridge with fresh milk. Shower room was equally spotless and we loved the power shower. On our first evening, having arrived fairly late, Emma welcomed us with the offer of a glass of wine but we opted for tea and biscuits. We'd asked for dinner that evening and were served with three delicious courses. The following morning's breakfast was so good in both quality and quantity we didn't need to eat anything else for the whole of the day. We had a full English and would particularly recommend the black pudding. Emma's home made preserves would be hard to beat too.

When we find a good B&B - and Glebe House is well up there with the best - we always say we hope to return but for various reasons this rarely happens. We really, really hope to do it this time.
