“A country affair.”
Reviewed 10 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Set deeper in the countryside of Devon than I had expected, the farm cottage was clean, comfortable and quiet apart from the expected the countryside noises. It was lovely to hear the owls after dark and enjoy the wood burning stove after a lovely evening meal. Travelling from the cottage to anywhere that had a white line down the road was a bit of an adventure but the countryside is beautiful (when you can see over the hedge!) The coastal spots are all spectacular in their own way so the holiday was restful and enjoyable.
There was a lovely cream tea waiting for us and fresh eggs for tea. I would have liked a slightly better equipped kitchen since I enjoy cooking but I managed with a bit of imaginative organisation. If you want 'off the beaten track' this is definitely a good place to stay.

“Relaxing”
Reviewed 19 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

My husband, our two children 5 & 2 years stayed four nights.
The farm cottage is great, fully equipped and the back door opens right into the farm yard. The children loved exploring the whole farm. In the morning's they helped Jacqui open the chicken, geese and duck coops and collect the eggs! While we were there my eldest son rescued five tiny chicks from the hay barn!
The cottage location meant we were so close to many beaches! We went rock pooling and visited the great museum in Seaton. We had a lovely stroll along Sidmouth beach, marvelled at the beauty of Beer beach and crabbing at Axmouth harbour and in Lyme Regis harbour.
Overall a great few days!

“What a Great Find”
Reviewed 15 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

The Cottage is ideal for our long weekends and with the help from the family, always loads of local things to see and do :-)
We relax at the cottage and recharge our batteries. It's well equipped, clean but not too far away from good restaurants, should you fancy eating out :-) we love it

“Amazing have to visit to appreciate what is on offer :)”
Reviewed 7 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

As soon as we arrived we knew we would love our stay, the whole family really warm and welcoming, nothing to much bother for them, the animals all well looked after and lovely. Beautiful views from the cottage and to be able to walk around the farm a bonus. The cottage was really well equipped with everything you need for your stay and very clean and tidy. You are in the heart of the country but within easy reach of all the amenities such as Sidmouth, Bicton, Seaton and many other locations with various things to do (see photo's). We felt completely relaxed and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Needless to say we will be returning next year but for slightly longer. I would highly recommend (already have done to friends) this cottage.

“Lovely country retreat”
Reviewed 20 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

A lovely cottage tucked out of the way in beautiful Devon countryside, wonderfully finished with all the creature comforts you could want.
We were made so welcome by Jacqui, her family and the animals! Being able to walk freely around the farmland and yard was greatly appreciated and really gave a whole new level to our holiday. Close enough to plenty of sights such as Beer and Exmouth but tucked away from anything resembling a city this really is a great place to escape daily life.

Can't recommend Perryhill enough, we will definitely be back!
