Having visited Portmahomack, it is a small fishing village with so much atmosphere and an excellent eating place as well. A trip to the Discovery Centre and the old church is essential, but it is well worth following the road out to Tarbatness lighthouse and go round the nature walk looking out for seals and dolphins. A very atmospheric place, and well worth a visit.
