“Fabulous Location, Venue, Food & Service”
Reviewed 28 March 2013

The rough meandering cliff face drive revealed the exquisite architecture of the main restaurant and reception area, nothing was left to chance by the architect here. This is the most beautiful location, high on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The interior of the restaurant is amazing especially the glass wine cabinet system, opening onto a large outdoor area with stunning views.

We were fortunate to be the only guests there for a late lunch dining on mascarpone, prosciutto and truffle oil pizza with rocket salad,coupled with French champagne it was truly a taste sensation and one of the most memorable dining occasions experienced.

Totally recommend!

“Incredible view with good Thai food”
Reviewed 26 March 2013

We stayed at Paresa for part of our Honeymoon and have nothing but great memories of the place including the Diavolo restaurant. We had made to order breakfast every morning as well as lunch one time here. The view of the Andaman Sea from this restaurant as well as throughout the resort is incredible and is worth stopping by just to see for yourself.

They advertise the restaurant as an Italian & Thai combination restaurant which is something I have never seen before. We ordered off the Thai menu for lunch one day and really enjoyed our meal. There was lots of flavor in both of our dishes. Made to order breakfast everyday was also very good. There are not a ton of items to choose from off the made to order breakfast menu, but that didn't matter to us as we were only staying at Paresa for four nights.

“eyes open, mouth shut.”
Reviewed 6 January 2012

-view is amazing
-good ice cream

negatives: (limited to a few)
-kitchen out of lots of ingredients.
-service poor (often mix up meals of tables etc)
-food isn't amazing, often not authentic.
-menu is very broad. chefs may be trying to master too much.

go for a look, don't stay for a meal.

“Not what we had hoped for...”
Reviewed 30 December 2010

Judging from the reviews on this site, we had high expectations of Diavolo. As it turned out we were somewhat disappointed;

Good points:
* The location is truly wonderful on a cliff overlooking the sea
* The archictecture and ambiance is modern, airy and very tasteful
* The service is friendful and attending

What we found disappointing;
* The food was not in line with the pretention, the ambiance and the prices;
* The carpaccios were accompanied by a strong mustard mayonnaise sauce that overwhelmed the taste of everything else;
* The grilled prawns with avocado were bland in taste;
* The veal scalopini was "fried" in "breadcrumbs" and "egg" with some tomato sauce and half melted mozarella on top. In our opinion Veal Scalopini should not be combined with either the words "fried", or with "breadcrumbs" nor with "eggs";
* Lastly in view of the above the bill was way out if compared to the quality of the food.

We would suggest that more focus would be given on serving honest Italian food as it is meant to be: simple, tasteful and full of life. That together with the great location, would make this a truly wonderful place to wine and dine.
