This is a small restaurant (about 5 tables) where the owner, manager, cook, and waiter are all the same person. He has a printed menu, but it is best to ignore the menu and ask him what is fresh for the day. He shops for fresh food and makes fresh pasta daily. He is very informal, sometimes waiting on tables with sandals, cutoffs, a tank-top, and a cigarette, and this bothers some people. But I have eaten there about 6 times over a period of 2 years, and his food is consistently very good. You can sit inside where it's quiet or outside at the edge of the street where you can watch people go by. If you want some company and it's not busy, he'll be happy to sit and chat with you. It's within easy walking distance of the beach and the main shopping area of Kamala.
