We visited Lullaby Bungalows with our 2 year old daughter. We really recommend this place, it was very relaxing. The staff are the great strength. They were helpful, respectful and friendly. The food was also excellent and everything was very clean. This place has a different vibe from a hotel or resort, much more relaxed. The owner was very engaging, happy to chat and offer advise about the sights in the area.

We arrived here at night after a long drive and were completely taken aback by how gorgeous this place was. After backpacking through some questionable lodging, this was a treat. Of course, its not "backpacker cheap" but for the area, this was well priced as most other lodging varies between surfer dives and luxury hotels.

From the welcome drink onwards, we loved it here. The bungalows are spacious, beautifully decorated. The soaps and shampoos in the rooms were lovely touches. The pool is gorgeous, and a nice place to rinse off after hanging out on the beach.

The food was incredible. The breakfast was honestly huge! We are big eaters, and even we had trouble finishing these. Germaine was even kind enough to hold breakfast for us one day as we took surfing lessons. She gave us the fruit in the morning and saved the breakfast for after the lesson. We had dinner here once and it was great, and well priced considering the area. Note to travellers: this area isn't exactly cheap!

Germaine only had a room for us for 2 nights, so we had to switch for the next two. Despite us leaving, we contacted her for help planning transportation, and she was kind enough to arrange our transport to the Gili Islands for us. She responded to every email quickly.

The outdoor shower was gorgeous! I would have lived here if I could.

I'm writing this from the pool side using the free wifi. We still have three more days here. :)

Lullaby Bungalows is more basic than we are used to. And we were a little shocked to discover there was no TV. But after five minutes of arriving we decided we loved it and the rest and relaxation was exactly what we needed after the hustle and bustle of Seminyak.

The hotel staff are lovely and the owner really helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Last night we took a scooter to a local restaurant and tonight we will do the same. There are loads of great places to eat here.

This morning hubby surfed whilst I enjoyed a two hour massage in my room, followed by a nap, followed by lunch in the lounge / dining room. This afternoon we are reading by the pool. Bliss!

It's much cheaper here than in other parts of Bali. It's much more laid back. And it's perfect for spending time together.

Love the open air shower and bathroom!

My only complaint is the over zealous rooster who woke us up this morning. But then that's part and parcel of rural Bali. :)

Room Tip: Do not choose the end villa if you are tall. Husband keeps hitting head on door frame.

We spent x3 nights in Lullaby Bungalows this week, and it is beautiful. There are currently only x4 bungalows on site (more being built) so it almost feels like your own private oasis.
The staff are lovely and extremely helpful, and the food was consistent and delicious.
The only downside would be the limited space to lounge around the pool, but this is no big deal to me, but relevant if you are that way inclined.
I would stay again without hesitation.

We have just arrived home from 7 night's at the beautiful Lullaby bungalows, this is our 3rd stay here in 12 months and we will definitely be coming back. I think what makes Lullaby stand out from the other places we have stayed in Bali is the sense of family, the incredible staff, Tari, Eeloo, Komang, Lucy and David and the magic massage from Bambu who has a wicked sense of humour, and Ketut (sorry if I have missed anyone) who helps keep the beautiful gardens immaculate and has the best smile on the Bukit. While there is a lot of development going on in the area (inevitable considering the amazing location) Lullaby is keeping it's quiet uniqueness.
What Germaine and Deppy have created here is truly magical.
