It took us 30 minutes to go down to the beach from the street but it was worth it. The view is stunning.. Loved the sunset here! So many nice restaurants, bars and backpacker hostels. All the surfers were really nice to watch too. You need to come here!

It's so worth walking down about 200 steps to this beautiful beach..although very grainy sand...it's divine on low tide...walking along the reef and checking out the water life. Wonderful warungs along the beach - yummy seafood - awesome sunset!

beautiful beach, not for the 5 star travellers. more for the backpacker save a dollar type. Rooms had no windows, no fans, no aircon. Bali traditional fresh food. very peaceful

Great spot to have a surf or just sit in a warung and watch. Many stairs down to the beach, plenty of warungs to eat and drink, can swim at beach on low tide or hire a board. Beautiful spot to spend the day.

This beach is one of the best kept secrets in bali. The surf is one of the main reasons people come here. The crowd is young and gorgeous and very friendly, so best get your best bathing suit on. Go for walks exploring along the cliffs. Great place for kids, except there are a heap of stairs to get to it. Accommodation is a little limited and quite basic but there are a few really nice villas which can be found. All in though, this is old bali, not the 5 star sprawling grounds that have overtaken the island we love.
