“the view was breathtaking”
Reviewed 22 August 2014

beautiful views of the cliffs and the waves, u must come during sunset the colours and the natural beauty of the setting is well worth the long drive. the main worship are in the temple are naturally off limits escape for worshipers but the architecture was very modest, and beautiful as well. i personally had no problems with the monkeys. they dont bother u if u dont bother them

dont miss the kecak dance during sunset, where re-enact a scene in the ramayana! the hanuman character does know how to play for the cameras

“Watch out”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

Watch out for the monkeys. I was attacked by one who lept onto my back and grabbed by sunglasses. Thankfully one of the guards rescued the glasses, by giving the monkey a banana. I guess that's why the monkeys do it! There are scammers around though who will make you pay to get your belongings back. All of which means that you don't really get to enjoy the temple.
