Walking into the pristine white hotel foyer which frames the infinity pool disappearing off the spectacular cliff drop to the famous Uluwatu surf break, you could be forgiven for thinking that you'd stumbled across a little piece of heaven. Particularly with a gorgeous glass chapel winking down at you. It's not until you wade through the overgrown weeds of your private garden, jimmy-open your room door, singe your nostrils on the smell of mould, wipe the dust of your bed spread and attempt to bathe under a shower nozzle that shoots every way but down that you realise you may have been deceived.

Booked for 2 nights ended up staying just the one. Rooms very run down, dead mossies on walls and ants in room. Bed very hard and uncomfortable. Staff helpful and friendly just needs a big face lift. Room service good. But room needs to be looked at could Smell sewerage coming from our toilet.

I recently went to blue point chapel and stayed in a room at bluepoint. As soon as you walk in any of the rooms it smells like mould.
The walls are warped.
There was black all over the exterior walls that were supposed to be white. They had chopped electrical cords viewable from the restaurant.
The staff were beyond rude.
They just thought because we were australian that we could afford to pay them tips all the time and when I gave a person a $10 tip they got angry because it wasn't enough!
We complained to the manager and he laughed. Not happy. Do not recommend

We were staying somewhere else but decided to have some drinks at blue point and go for a swim as we do when staying in kuta. But the man at the kiosk offered for lunch/ drink and swim for approx $21 ( which was on a little print out) we had just eaten so I asked how much just to swim (which we were surprised we were being charged because our experience with hotels in the past is that they are happy for you go swim if your buying drinks) so he said $18- just to swim! Has anyone else experienced this. There was nothing written anywhere, I have a feeling he was ripping us off. By the way it's a nice spot I just felt a bit jaded.

We only stayed here 1 night before we flew out the next day and we were happy it was only a night. There's water damage in lots of areas that are unused.
There's a creepy green water garden pool that looks like it's never been cleaned. The main sunset pool area is beautiful but can be quite overcrowded with people taking pictures during sunset. There was also a underwater light fixture in the pool that wasn't secured properly. The noise in the hallway echoes into the rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room itself is spacious and nice looking, Our shower curtain was filthy though. All in all this place needs some more maintenance.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days in February 2014 for a wedding. From reading the reviews i knew already that this hotel wasn't 5 star however didn't really expect what we got. The hotel needs a full upgrade as when it rained, the rain water leaked through the roof in the restaurant leaving pools of water everywhere. The rooms were not very clean and there were stains in many places, including the bedding and on the walls, all over the hotel. The breakfast buffet is rather small with very little choice. The staff were however very helpful and friendly and the location is just great, the view over the ocean is beautiful. However, for what i paid, i did expect a little more than what i got. I would personally not stay at this hotel again.

The room was absolutely beautiful. The views breath taking... The food poisoning my husband got not so amazing. We thought we would lash out and get the honeymoon villa at $380US a night. We got room service with candles etc overlooking the ocean. Which ended up with my husband VERY sick for the next 2 days. The bathrooms need updating and the decking needs to be repaired. They had lounge chairs over the holes in the decking. The service was great. Very friendly people and they were extremely apologetic however for that price we should have saved our money and not done it. I wouldn't stay there again.
