Stayed 3 nights at Ziteng. For me who uses the train to get to and out of Hualien, the location of the hostel was excellent - 5 mins walk from the train station. However it is not near to the main shopping streets. Regardless, it is not a big problem since you can use the bicycles to get around.

It is not on a busy road so the rooms were quiet. Rooms are clean and the facilities are in good working condition. Wifi in rooms were great. The owners were very friendly and recommended us restaurants and places to visit. There are convenience stores and bento shops near it.
