One of the many hotels that is near to the Kaohsiung Station that make travelling by bus or train very convenient.
The name card shows at least 14 hotels of such same name in Kaohsiung and not many can pronounce the name correctly as many taxi driver have problem knowing the location if you mention Royal.Just mention opposite Kaohsiung Train Station will be more easy if you are staying in this Jian Guo 2nd Road branch and cannot remember the name.Or just mention YeeShoo/Yishu Li Kuan...
Only thing I do not understand is why the check in time must be late afternoon, though they are helpful to allow guest to leave their luggage at the lobby .Nevertheless the room was great .

Friendly staff and breakfast is acceptable to me .

Hotel with great location, just in front of railway and subway stations. Very nice interior and very clean. Room is bright and comfortable.Huge TV screen, coffee, tea, in-room safe, fast wi-fi.Good view from 13th floor. Breakfast had a good variety, friendly staffs.
I'll return to this hotel again.

Hotel with great location, just 2 min walk away from metro station. Loved the hotel simply cause of the very stylish interior design and the cleanliness. Breakfast had a good variety and staffs were friendly. Loved the huge Tv screen and it isn't true that adult channels were unlocked and unsafe. I did not came across anything like that during my 2 nights stay. However just don't expect any nice view when you draw the curtains..

Stayed here for five nights. The room was a good size and the hotel's location cannot be beaten. I was a bit shocked to find out I had been allocated a room on the smoking floor, however fortunately the room did not smell of smoke at all. Breakfast was good, although the buffet contained almost solely 'Chinese' food (although this was an issue personally). One thing to be aware of is the limited English proficiency of the staff. I managed to figure out any issues with them, however if you have high expectations of reception and aren't fluent in Mandarin I would recommend you stay elsewhere.

We stayed for one night after a late arrival before traveling on to Taitung.

My first impressions were to question whether this was an hourly rate hotel, it certainly looks a bit like one. Judging by the amount of porn available on the TV I am still not convinced it isn't. Unfortunately it was my daughter that discovered the plethora of unlocked porn channels. Not ideal for families.

Room had an incredibly noisy fridge that kept me up all night. At about 3 am I had to complain, they woke up the old couple in the room above with 4 or 5 phone calls blaming them. I bet they weren't happy. Probably a language issue.

Its functional and cheap for a short stay, I was happy to be out of there after 1 night. Had an uneasy feeling in there, it looked clean, but didn't feel clean.

Breakfast was pretty bad. The coffee was ok.
