Historically speaking I think this area is a must see. It’s not easy to get to and I honestly felt a little let down. Still I’m glad I went, I definitely enjoyed the view.

Really easy to reach from downtown Taipei (metro then gondola) this scenic hillside with tea plantations, cafes and shops with local teas. Definitely worth buying some tea, taking lunch and a nice walk around the green hills. There are proper hiking trails leading off from the tourist area if you are prepared for a longer walk.

A really nice day trip and good views day or night.

Very nice, although at the end there is not really much good restaurants. The views were great and its is worth the effort and the money.

We didn't stay too long at the end of the gondola ride. There's still not really too much to do once you're there, and little to keep the interest of young children. The gondola ride is the best part of the trip and you also get the best views.

We took the gondola up for some nice views of the city and to walk around the tea plantation area. I was quite surprised at the amount of greenery so close to the city. We took the #15 bus back to the Zoo station
