Stayed in this hotel during COMPUTEX due to non availability in other hotels due to last minute booking.
Rooms are small, non-openable window, AC never worked.
Free internet is offered but was not available for most of the time.
Very bad breakfast. Pathetic service.

Room Tip: Please check AC is working and if interested in using internet please confirm that it is operational.

Location - no doubt the best thing about this hotel. It is located in the Wufenpu Shopping District and within walking distance to Raohe Night Market. There are several eating houses and shops everywhere which are open till late night. In particular, I like (and miss) the Smelly Pot (chou chou guo, which is mini hot pot in individual servings) just directly across the road. You don't have to worry about going hungry, or missing late night shopping or feeling bored at night at all. The nearest MRT stations are Yongchun and Houshanpi, both about 10 minutes' walk away.

Room - clean and spacious. Space is something I always look out for in Taiwan hotels because you do need the space to put all your shopping. This hotel satisfies me well enough. Amenities such as toiletries, hair dryer and wifi are provided. I must also say that the bed is comfortable enough - it is not too hard. I feel the need to mention this, because I have slept on hard beds in a few hotels in Taiwan, which is not satisfactory.

Room Tip: Check that your room has windows. I feel that a room without a window feels claustrophobic.

Ignore your first impressions - when you pull up to the rather ramshackle exterior over a family mart 24 hour store you may wonder what you've let yourself in for. Inside is a modern, clean and efficient little hotel, with excellent english-speaking staff. Wupenfu clothes market is right on your doorstep and you're ten minutes from a subway station (although cabs are dirt cheap) and maybe 20 minutes walk from taipei 101.

Room Tip: High for peace and quiet, low for rapid escape in the event of a fire!

Just 5 min plus to houshanpi mrt and 5 min to songshan train - go jiufen. Love shopping - can get everything from raohe nite market and cheap clothing at wufenpu. Food wise, u can get it everywhere, nite stalls. Hotel is comfy clean with free buffet breakfast serving porridge, side dishes and toast bread- simple local foodfare. Highlight was able take direct bus from taipei main station to yeliu to visit queen head. Restaurant in middle serve cheap but very tasty seafood dishes! Go for it!! Also took mrt to try their fastest maglev train and beitou for their solid wen quan - hot spring! Downstairs of hotel several shops including 24 hr convenient store. Took hotel limouse to airport at NT1000. Will stay other hotel next round as finished exploring this area. Likely be wonstar ximen at ximending mrt.

The hotel is located very near the songshan mrt, convenient and accessible to wufenpu and raohe night market. Overrall a simple room, if ur not looking for something exclusive, it's a good choice!
