“Nice for sitting outside on a summer's day”
Reviewed 15 May 2014

On the high street in Peymeinade. It has a lovely covered garden at the back of the restaurant. Good food at reasonable prices. Wide menu from Pizza to steak. Public car park behind. Staff friendly and English is spoken if needed. Set menus too at affordable rates. Families with children welcomed. Sunday lunch very popular so good idea to book.

“Amazing girlie lunch on the terrasse!”
Reviewed 8 May 2014

One of the most original, exciting menus ever found in this part of France, for sure. We had the soft boiled eggs with foie gras toasts-warm gambas and saint jacques salad; sea bass with basil-cèpes risotto (so creamy!). Service was amazing, ambience was buzzy and it was all together a very enjoyable experience. 3 courses each plus wine and coffee for 70€. Can't wait to go back!

“A group of ten disappointed guests”
Reviewed 26 December 2013 via mobile

We arrived with two guests running a bit late, once everyone there ordered our meals, had some kids with us so some children menus, some a la carte and some menus. From the time starters arrived for some to the time we got our main dishes for others we had to wait one and a half hours unreal when it eventually came the pizzas where hard as rock (adults) had problems cutting them they were so hard, reckon they had been forgotten and reheated, some of the food was cold.We were a group of ten and when the bill came over 250 euros i asked if they could make an effort seeing how long we had waited and the owners response was i can offer digestives (well that is normally offered to everyone) when the puddings arrived two of them we had not ordered, the waiter insisted we had, the whole staff attitude was awful and i will never go back there. A couple of very good friends recommended this place but i have now heard it depends on the day can be brilliant can be a bad experience. Good luck!

“Fresh, Hearty Mediterranean Food”
Reviewed 17 September 2013

This was our second visit to Le Jardin and another good experience. The set menu produced a pleasant Caesar salad and a wonderful pork curry - I'd normally never touch any spiced food in France but this came on recommendation from a friend and was excellent. The low end priced sauvignon blanc was very good. I would only come here to eat outside on the covered patio - the interior is a bit bright and stark.
