My wife and I stayed here with our two daughters in August, right from arriving at the hotel we were well impressed, our stay was comfortable, relaxing and hassle free, the staff were to professional, extremely friendly and helpful , the food even in the bar was very good, I can't praise this hotel enough, so much so we booked and extra night. So if you want a relaxing, convenient and luxurious place to stay for this price range I wouldn't go further than the Crown plaza.

I stayed at the crowne plaza dublin - blanchardstown in aug 2014 and it was a very nice hotel that had all the bells and whistles minus a pool. Very clean and modern and the staff was top notch. The downfall if you are looking to be close to the action is that the hotel is about a half hour to 35 min direct bus ride into the city. Its about a 25 euro cab ride to the airport. Bus to the airport takes over an hour with one connection. Cab to the city center is about 25 to 35 euros. The hotel is a two min walk to a major bus hub outside the blandshardstowne mall which is directly outside the hotel. The mall has a movie theatre and lots of restaurants. The gym was well equipped with a sauna and the wifi worked well. I would recommend going to the Guinness Storehouse in the city center for a tour while your in dublin.

Stayed last week for a shopping trip to the shopping centre. A beautiful hotel with great facilities. Rooms are clean & comfortable, staff very friendly. Great selection at breakfast. Kids got drawstring bags with little activities :) This is our 2nd time staying and we will definitely be back. Booked 4 rooms as family member was in wheelchair and her staff had there rooms cleaned twice ( fresh sheets etc ) which was a lovely touch.

Room Tip: Stayed in rooms 510 & 512, kids loved watching the planes taking off & landing etc into Dubl...

My sister and I stayed at this hotel on 10th August. Comfortable room. Plenty of free parking. Friendly staff. Furniture in bar slightly worn, probably due to the amount of people passing through. Nice cocktails.

Plenty of buses to city centre close by. Big shopping centre with lots of restaurants and cinema beside the hotel. Breakfast was adequate - have had better.

I would stay at this hotel again.

This Hotel is great for the Airport and very easy to make a base if you have a car. If you don't you can get an easy bus into Dublin from the stop next to the Starbucks over the Road. We did the bus one day, it was €3.10 (have correct coins) and we jumped off by O'Connell St. You can't walk into Dublin, it's an out of town Hotel situated next to a shopping centre development. The shopping centre is ok, it's high street brands, not luxury stores. There's an Odeon Cinema there also.

The staff were all very friendly. Room was very nice, very clean, decent International 4 Star standard. Perhaps pay a bit more and go Central if you wish to walk around Dublin from the Hotel door.

We didn't pay a fortune to stay here and chose it as we were going to be doing a fair amount of driving.

Breakfast was fine, though we didn't like the baked beans which were a bit sickly sweet.

Happy to rate as 5/5, though please be aware that this is an International type brand Hotel based outside of Dublin. If you are fine with that you will, like ourselves, be happy here.

We stayed 2 nights, having never been to Dublin before. The staff gave us great advice on transport and were really helpful on other matters. Always with a smile and a sense of wanting to please.

Great beds.

Buffet breakfast at big hotels can be awful but not here. Freshly cooked food that was hot in the buffet. Great selection of food in the continental breakfast too. Timing may have been a factor. Just after we sat down to eat a big group arrived and did have to queue for a little while.
When we checked out they hadn't added our breakfast to the bill. They were grateful for us mentioning it but gave it to us for free anyway!
This is our second stay at a Crowne Plaza and we will have them as our preferred choice from now on.
