“Very nice, perfect for Sunday brunch!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 September 2014

I like this place, the smell, decoration and choice are very inspiring. You can also do your grocery shopping, in the delicatessen part. They also offer some of the nicest Italian wines I have tested! I went there few times with my wife and kids on Sunday, there was choice for everyone for a very tasty brunch.

“Well it feels like it's a genuine taste of Italy. ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2014 via mobile

I like the decor, the tables laid out, the wine on the shelves beside you. It feels like the real deal. Excellent selection of wines, the Valpolicella is well , very good. Staff seem genuinely happy to see us again and we feel welcome. The antipasto is superb and compliments the wine so well or is it the other way round. Focaccia bread is delightful and again just right. Also if it's not mentioned on the menu and it is doable (sic) then it will be done , no fuss, happy to oblige. So we had some cheese added to the antipasto, mmmh that went well. Conversation, eating tasty food drinking good wine, in a very pleasant ambiance , well it really is hard to get better than that. Prices are reasonable and I always feel I have had a lovely evening in Taste of Italy. I would highly recommend this establishment.

“A nice surprise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 March 2014

This restaurant sits above a SuperValu supermarket, so not a good first impression of a place to eat.

However, the welcome is good and the attendance at table is warm and pleasant.

The food is not cheap, but then Dublin is not cheap, unless you hunt around, but it was very good quality in a reasonable proportion and a gap between courses, so there is not that "Let's get them out to make space for the next lot in".

Worth a visit.

“A very tasty experience.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 March 2014

This is a tidy little restaurant under Maximillian's restaurant proper. The menu is very good. We enjoyed our starters and mains very much. This place also serves a mean pizza. I'm heading back here again soon. The dishes and starter are all well presented, tasty and moreish!! Service is also great and there is a nice spread of good wines and beers to choose from.
