A super concept, wide variety of birds, entertainment for all ages, close to Monkeyland and Teniqua thus all three can be visited on the same journey. Not great in rainy conditions

“Must visit!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 May 2014

I have been here twice now and just love it! The walkways go on and on and there is so much to see. The benches are a lovely spot to sit, relax and enjoy the birds all around you.
There was a pink parrot right in the beginning, who kept following us which was quite entertaining.

There is a small coffee shop by the pond where you can sit and watch the birds also.
The pathways looks to be like it would be accessible for a wheelchair also.

I will definitely return and always recommend Birds of Eden to my friends.

“Beautiful Creatures”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2014

It was chilly! It was raining! But is was all worth it! We opted for the combination ticket for Birds of Eden and Monkeyland which is definitely something you should consider. Monkeyland is across the parking lot and like Birds of Eden is a must see. Later on I learnt there is a combo which includes Jukani Wildlife Sancturay which is 5 minutes around the corner on the N2. We opted for the separate Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre. Between these four highly rated sights just minutes away from each other offering combo discounts, setting aside a day in The Crags to visit them all is worth it.

Birds of Eden is a very comfortable walk through a massive aviary in a forest which contains hundreds of birds from all over the world, Being able to walk amongst these beautiful creatures is an experience that you should not miss. Some of the feeding trays are close to the path so you can get up close and personal with some amazing birds. One thing to note as the signs all over highlight the wooden pathway is slippery when wet!
