had dinner here for the second time. in both cases we had the same thoughts. First the bad, the service despite the very personable owners and staff is not great and ultimately ruins the dining experience. There is not enough wait staff and what staff there is in not well coordinated between themselves and the kitchen. the end result despite the beautiful setting and good food is that one leaves feeling very frustrated. Given the peak season has not yet occurred it would be a very good idea id the restaurant hires people very very quickly.
The good include the beautiful view and the good food. The strengths are the pastas, vegetable and fish dishes. The meat dishes we had so far have been mediocre including the Trio Neapolitano and a scallopini last night. Also a highlight is the fired pizza. THe wine list is very satisfactory. Desserts are varied. The Baba was wonderful the first time but not so good the second. I hope the restaurant irons put the service issues. It is a nice addition to this side of the island where alternative dining choices are limited.
