My stepson and I had the best time we did the afternoon tour it is very educational and interesting.
You have a small group with a guide who explains firstly how they make their Thai tea and coffee and rice pancakes which you get to try.
You are shown how the buffalo ploughs the rice fields you get to pat the buffalo and go for a ride in a cart pulled by the buffalo.
We saw how they separate the husk from the rice.
You see how they split coconuts make milk and cream and what spices they use in curries and got to taste a curry.
You see how they tap rubber from the trees and then how the sap is made into rubber form.
We watched two young elephants playing soccer painting and other things the trains had taught them they were gorgeous.
We then got to go on the elephants for a trek through the jungle it was great along the way you get to stop and look out over the beautiful scenery of Chalong and the ocean.
Then for a lovely buffet dinner I highly recommend this tour it is just wonderful for young and old.

Booked direct online - cheaper than booking though the hotel - & you get a free canvas bag :)) PIck up was on time and efficient. The day is well organised and really fun and interesting. You move through in small groups and stay with the same tour guide throughout the day. Riding the elephants has got to be the highlight. The people in charge of each elephant make every effort to point out interesting things and to allow you to get great pictures if you're part of a group. Te elephants look really well cared for too which is important. Learning how rice is grown and milled, and how to husk a coconut was really educational for the kids (mine were aged 8 & 10) as well as the adults. The cooking deminstration was delicious. All in all a fantastic day out. Thoroughly recommend it.

My partner and I did the 4 in 1 lunch tour during July 2014. We had a fantastic time and are glad that we did this rather than just the elephant trek.

We had a little rain during our ride but our mahout pulled out an umbrella for us to use. Our guide, Eye spoke fluently and clear about all aspects of the tour as well as adding some extra jokes along to make everyone laugh.

I could not speak more highly of the efficiency and in depth explanations of all aspects of the tour and I would recommend to anyone looking to do something like this in Phuket!

Wi was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide who managed to herd the pleasantly small crowd in our group through the exhibits efficiently and without being patronizing as can occur occasionally at such attractions. The animals seemed well cared for and the elephant trek was well worth it - a half hour "stroll" through the jungle culminating in a few minutes enjoying the view across the Chalong Bay. The junk sunset cruise was a lovely finishing touch to the day, with my request for a vegetarian meal catered for to excess.

We chose Siam Safari because of their reputation for caring for the elephants. Our guide for the day was Sao, she was an excellent guide who had a great knowledge of the animals and the history of thai tradition. She showed us a demonstration of how the rice is grown and how it used to be harvested and how the rice is processed, we got to try thai coffee and tea and how to make a delicious curry. Then we went on a beautiful scenic ride on top of an elephant, after the elephant trek we were trated to a lovely lunch. It was a very enjoyable trip, thanks to Sao for a great day.
