“Excellent Customer Service, Superb View”
Reviewed 24 July 2013

I must admit that i'm a difficult customer. Throughout my stay here, i do not have the chance to complain. Every staff knows what they are doing and understands customers needs. I had a stress free holiday. However, if you're looking for a beach, this is not the place. It is located up on a hill, therefore the good view of the ocean. Tour arrangements are available. Limited choice of food but it was excellent taste and well prepared.

Room Tip: Get the upper level for better views....however, some rooms on the ground floor has direct access to...

The place was very beautiful, serene and classy... but that's too obvious. You can see that in its every picture posted on the web. So here's what you might want to know.
1. The food they serve is really delectable. Puts me into a happy place. :) I was always looking forward for breakfast. I stayed for 3D2N, they don't serve the same stuff the next day. The posh resto also didn't disappoint. The owner himself goes around to ask personal comments and suggestions. Try their artisan ice creams! I couldn't forget the spicy mango ice cream (I forgot the name. But, twas reallllllly good!
2. How polished they treat their customers. The staff were very warm and accommodating. (e.g., i took a dip in the pool and they gave me towels when I didn't even ask for it, we stayed at their bar, i was allowed to play DJ for a moment and sing my heart out. The bartender made me drinks which was not on the menu..and more!) True indeed, it would put a shame to other upscale overpriced hotels.

It wasn't beach front but they definitely put me into a happy place. :)

The hotel is owned by a German who obviously has established roots in the country. This hotel is managed so efficiently that it will put to shame many high-end ones. The service is excellent, the staff well-skilled yet retaining their usual filipino warmth. Our room was clean and elegantly charming with a big, clean & fresh-smelling bathroom (with L'Occitane toiletries to boot). The infinity pool is beautiful according swimmers a spectacular view of trees and the sea. And the food-- gourmands will rejoice; with a German chef at its helm one can only expect to eat well. My family and I loved the French onion soup, it was simple yet tasted decadent. Try too, the deep-fried camembert and pair it with some wine (Yes! They have a wine cellar.). Don't forget to get a massage. The hotel has a spa with well-trained therapists.
Tip: The hotel has no beach. This wasn't a concern for us since we went to Bohol to snorkel. The front desk was happy to arrange for us a half-day adventure to Pamilacan Island-- a 1-hour trip via a motorized banca. Pods of black spinner dolphins put on a delightful show for us. We then proceeded to a spot called coral garden where we snorkelled. Beautiful!

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms give you easy access to the gardens and the pool.

Just when I thought I have seen it all in Bohol, The Peacock Garden just completely exceeded my expectations on travel hospitality. With its posh structures and facilities, you'll definitely feel you have been transported into a different era, somewhere in a luxurious part of Europe. From its polished interiors, picturesque infinity pool overlooking the sea, to its award-winning spa; you'll never want to leave. Prepare yourselves too for the exquisite food they have to offer, it was European food at its finest. The best part of our stay was the great staff they have- accommodating, warm and thoughtful. Thanks and we will definitely be back soon!

Best service! They have the friendliest and most accommodating staff who knows what you need even before you ask for it. Once there, you just have to relax and enjoy the view and the facilities.

We were lucky to have a voucher, a lesser price for a 3days 2nights stay. Most of the resorts i have been to would treat customers who availed of vouchers a little different from those you paid the regular rate. Like a different set of breakfast or no complimentary whatsoever. But here in Peacock garden, we were given everything - from complimentary and sample drinks, tension relief massages, the whole breakfast menu and full attention of the staff who never said "no" to our requests. We would definitely go back voucher or no voucher. I'd go back for the view to relax but most specially i'd go back because of the people. Its definitely a place you wont want to miss!

it's really hard to describe because we never expected the service and place, food, etc to be so great! from the initial transfer from airport to the hotel, we were impressed at how the driver had given us cold towels and bottled water to refresh us from the trip. when we got to the hotel, it felt strange (in a good way) because it didn't feel like you were in the Philippines anymore. it was like you were transported to a place in europe where rizal had stayed, particularly in Germany.
their service was impeccable! i feel that the staff here are better trained than most staff of 5-star hotels! extremely approachable, helpful, polite... not one staff would pass by without greeting you.
their beds are the best, again can be compared to 5-star hotels! their food... hats off to the chef, it tasted like european food at its best! their spa... i fell asleep as it was so relaxing!

the only down part to this hotel was that it is not readily accessible to the beach. we had to go elsewhere to go to a beach :( but to tell you the truth, once we were at the beach i wanted to go back to the hotel asap! i missed it, haha :p

and honestly, the pools are great at this hotel. it's not full of chlorine like other hotels and there's a lifeguard that really guards the pool! to top it off, they serve free shakes in the afternoon, just to refresh you! plus... the pool can be used until 11pm!

if i haven't already said it, i love this place! it's such a great place to just relax and get away from it all. i wish i were already back there!

Room Tip: choose one on the ground floor so you can have easier access to the pool.

The best design and craftsmanship in any hotel in Bohol.

Located to far away from anything else in Bohol. If you just want to stay at the hotel it will suffice.

Most vacationers in Bohol want to see the local sites, you will waste too much time traveling to these sites and basically spend you time on the highway, which is less crowded by the way.

Overpriced for Bohol. The price for this hotel should include more atmosphere. Here the resort is nice but, no nightlife, hardly any other guest (ghost town) food is edible but all is overpriced compared to what you can get for your money in Bohol.

Great place if you are embarrassed to be with your guest because he is 30 years older than you, secluded.

Room Tip: Chose the rooms that face the sea, I will not call them seaside, as that would make you believe the...
