All air conditioned accommodation...... not the room we had.

the heater was tiny and with the lack of insulation it was totally inadequate.

the wifi stopped working at 8.30pm

the TV was smaller than my notebook computer...

Glad we were only there one night.

Initially we booked this because said pet friendly.... but when we asked about bringing our dogs we were told NO...

should have cancelled it then.

Oh well.. we won't be back.

My husband & I spent a couple of days at a cottage. We had a lovely relaxing stay. the staff were very helpful and pleasant. We would recommend this to everyone. We had our little dog with us and this wasn't a problem at all.

Stayed three nights at a cottage in the grounds. Lovely surroundings right beside the river with plenty of space for families. The unit was well-equipped and clean. The location is a bit out of town but on the main road to Bright or Myrtleford so stock up with the essentials before you arrive.

My wife and I first went to Alpine Park around thirty years ago with our two children. We all learnt to Ski Mt Buffalo at Dingle dell sadly now a shadow of its former ski slope.
The units were comfortable, clean and quiet.
All good until anybody in units 1,2,3,4 turned on or off a tap. The water hammer in the pipes were quite loud in our unit (3) irrespective if we used our taps or not and I suspect it would have been the same in the other three units.
the other thing was we had no fire extinguisher in our unit or so we thought.
we found it on the second day in a cupboard under the sink at the back in the right hand corner.
Not particular good we did not think.
I emailed the owners when we arrived home and informed them of these two concerns on the 22nd of March.
Obviously it was not a concern to them as they did not bother to reply to our email.
Don't be put off by these two concerns it really is a lovely place to stay. We would stay there again.

The grounds of the resort are extensive and well maintained with lovely river frontage. We stayed for 6 nights and had our small dog with us without any problems. The unit was well appointed, with all cooking facilities, large new refrigerator and washing machine. Opposite the resort is a rail trail walking and cycling track which was very handy for a walk with our dog in the mornings. We would happily stay there again.

Our stay was for one night only as we were visiting the area for a function at the nearby Boyntons Winery.
The host was very helpful, letting us check in early and also providing some travel advice for an alternate route home to Melbourne the next day via Mansfield.

Our cabin was clean, comfortable and had all you need for a short stay in the area, including a reasonable kitchenette.
Two improvements,
1, TV could be a bit bigger
2. Air conditioner (a portable one) was a bit noisy to leave on at night, although a good circulating fan was also provided.

The location is right on the river and other guests were taking advantage of the small ramp provided for easy access to the river for swimming.

Would stay again if in the area and not looking to stay in Bright itself.

Room Tip: Cabins nearer the river are further from the main road

Very helpful and generous hosts, the grounds are extensive and well maintained. We stopped at the pet friendly unit which was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Rail Trail straight across the road and an easy walk to the pub and Rail Trail Cafe.
BBQs clean and easily operated with a rotunda next to it. It would be a good venue for a low key family gathering.
Bed was comfortable with some road noise through the day but minimal at night.
