Went for dinner here, food was amazing great choice from the seasonal menu. 3 courses & offered bread on 5 occasions. Every course was gorgeous & a good sized portion, we couldn't even finish our vegetables! Staff were excellent & very attentive & friendly. Can't wait to go back!

This is a beautiful family run hotel where you are made to feel you are in your own home, with the exception of excellent service throughout. Our food was fantastic from Olympic Gold Chef Kevin Dundon, while the accommodation is beautifully appointed. You really need a few days to take in the period house, once the home of Lord Donegal. Oh how the gentry lived if Dunbrody is anything to go by. We visited the spa and thoroughly enjoyed the mud bath!! A walk in the grounds and a visit to the vegetable garden is recommended.
We plan to get back soon for several days next time

Room Tip: Rooms at the top of the house have great views. Take the time out to walk the grounds and also see where they grow their own organic fruit and vegitables. The mud bath for two is highly recommended!!

We stayed at dunbrody house on nights of 30/31stdec
It was terrible weather outside almost whole time so could not enjoy the full experience of the estate.
The staff were great every one of them from breakfast bar and evening meals accounts and front of house team too!we had two evening meals and two breakfasts!
Breakfasts were great problem of evening meals were first night chose from al la carte without knowing what was to be included in old years night menu ?
so if chose something on following nights menu by chance it became repetitive?shame as it was all cooked so well!
Rooms were large but we had rooms over busy noisy bar area as hotel was full!
Overall because of friendly staff and service with a smile it was nice.

Stayed there in November for the second time. Everyone should get to stay and dine in Dunbrody House at least once. We love it as a treat and we will be back. Bedrooms are authentic and cosy and the food is consistently excellent even though Kevin Dundon isn't always there himself.

Room Tip: Look for one facing out over the lawns

A great New years Eve party in the hotel followed by a great New Years day lunch in the local pub on the grounds. Two different experiences but both very enjoyable, fun and value for money. We will be back next year.
