Had a great time in Curracloe holiday Villas.

Great, simple accom, exactly what we were after.
Nothing was too much trouble for the landlord, even arrived with some extra garden furniture for us once the sun came out.

Location best part of the whole deal!

We recently stayed in the Hioliday Villas and really enjoyed our stay. It's a great place for kids and they equally enjoyed the stay, We stayed in a three bedroom villa and it had everything you needed. A home away from home. Seamus was very accomodating and friendly. The location is fantastic - just 2 mins walk to the beach. Perfect place for families.

We went there in 2013 it was dirty and very basic the accommodation, beautiful location just walking distance to the beach, On the holiday home site there is a restaurant which served nice food, but we would not recommend it due to the condition of the holiday homes..

I have spent the week at this lovely peaceful location. The first thing that I can say about it is Seamus is wonderfully accommodating! :D Through Murphy's Law that perpetuates my existence, we arrived at the unseemly checkout time of 22.30 and to our greatest relief he answered his phone at that hour and was really pleasant about it. Our first impression of the house was fantastic!!! It was so spacious we were really surprised! We were in the house that can sleep up to 7 people comfortably and it was gorgeous!!! It was really reasonable with heating as well we had the storage heater on for maybe 20 mins and we were roasting!! :D The beach is literally a minute drive away but there is also a lovely area 5mins drive too.

There would be a couple of things I would fault however. When we arrived the kettle was full of limescale which took me a long time to clean because we did not bring any cleaning utensils with us. I am used to limescale though so this wasnt a big thing for me but my nails did suffer a little :/ Also the teapot was a little undesirable and looked as though it had not been cleaned or used in a long while. All the other stuff pots and pans the oven and hob were all very clean.

In general, the house was fantastic and we had a lovely stay, but it seems that too much responsibility is left to the self catering aspect for cleanliness with regards to some things in the kitchen area. Probably would be something that should be specified as we all know some people can not clean up after themselves. I for one am the type of person to leave a place as I would like to find it not lazily thinking someone else will do it. I am sure that if it was requested that you clean it thoroughly before you leave it would not be a problem. A little team work in families makes short work!! :D

Overall, I would definitely recommend it. Bring some cleaning equipment with you and it will be perfect. :D Location, space and the comfort of not being restricted to check in check out times as well as a really reasonable price for the number of heads accommodated for per house you cannot go wrong. I was just disappointed we couldn't stay longer!!

Please note that this is not for fussy people who are used to four star luxury hotel accommodation. If you have a good sized family and are looking for a safe fun place for kids and pets, then this is for you!! :D

Forgot to mention but there is a little playground area as well that was great for our young son and we felt safe enough to have the back door open and let him run down to it as he pleased something that is often lacking in holiday accommodation. He was delighted and it gave us time to have our coffee in the morning!!! :D

Room Tip: If you have children request the houses near the restaurant. They are also right beside the playground and you dont have to worry about noise from the place it was dead quiet to us anyway! :D

Cant believe I stumbled across this amazing facility, The Holiday village is nestled in the sunny south east of Wexford beside the Ballinsker beach and boasts of stunning view and peaceful surrounding.
The Accommodation comprised of Cottage like purpose built house, that comprise of 2/3 bedrooms 1/2 bathrooms open fires, full equipped kitchens a lounge with TV WI-FI and an on site Italian restaurant and Bar.

The staff were so nice polite and efficient, the owner Seamus was a happy and obliging person with excellent local knowledge and always ready to help. I totally enjoyed my stay even the sunshine was perfect I highly recommend this locate
