Everything was great, we started with a pic pic plate then I had a plate with lobster, tuna and tartar. My friend had the crab coco and we were amazed to see how the dishes look good and how the food was delicious. We had a great night there, thank you la playa!

We ate at La Playa twice during our recent stay in Marie-Galante and had a wonderful time. Jerome and Colomba, along with their staff, will take great care of you. Highlights were the grilled Langouste with vanilla sauce, and La Zarzuela, a delicious seafood pot for two. The Zarzuela was full of langouste, crab, ouassous, mussels and a local white fish, all in a delicious broth. We also shared the yummy Coco Flan for dessert, which was more like a moist coconut cake than a custard. Small but thoughtful wine selection, we had a Cotes de Provence Rose one evening, and a white Bordeaux the other.

Nice selection of infused rums for after dinner, in addition to some aged rum. The small store in the restaurant also carries cigars, and when my husband bought one, they invited us to linger in the terrace area (most of the other diners had left already) and enjoy it there.

Local sea food with Spanish set up (not only) because of the Spanish chef as we was informed by the operating personnel. The staff was very professional and helpful with guidance throuhg the menu (even in English ;-). The French Chardonnay suprisingly very good, although we should have started with a lighter option. Merci beaucoup!
