We stayed at the B&B for a couple of nights and loved it. Initially we were put off by how difficult it was to find on the scarily narrow roads around Lake Como. It is a long way from the lake and you really need a car or reliable driver to get there but once you arrive the tiny township is a delightfully quiet oasis. Also you need to walk uphill on little cobbled streets so try not to drag large suitcases, backpacks would be better. The place itself is really nice, clean, quiet, with modern fittings and full of exotic charm thanks to Cecilia's African heritage. Cecilia and Stefan are both very friendly and accommodating, we had just crossed the Swiss border and had no euros but they gave us homemade bread, meat, beer and wine and let us pay the next day as there is no ATM facilities in the village. The area is very pretty and high above the Lake, it's about 16kms from the lakes edge but its straight up so the views are amazing. Walking around the village was the best part of our stay, we saw lots of locals and awesome views from the statue of madonna at the top of the hill. I would recommend Casa Filomena but make sure you have euros with you and be prepared for an adventure!
