As three couples we met up for a week at this beautifully presently property. It exceeded our expectations, and really is just as the photo graphs. It is very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The location is quiet in a small village but there is a bus service and also limited lake ferries stop at the boat stop. A car would make your stay more flexible. We did have some confusion about the parking arrangements, but there is a garage close by and Laura (the owner) will be happy to show you where it is. We should mention the cobbled steps up-to the apartment which although very tough at the beginning of the week got much easier by the end of our stay and in no way spoiled experience.
We all had a wonderful holiday and really hope to return for another stay in the future.

We stayed at Terrazza Elegante for 5 nights with our young children and another family - 4 adults and 4 children under 6 years of age in total. The villa is very spacious: our families never felt cramped despite all of the rambunctiousness of the children and the adults were able to find space to enjoy a glass of wine in relative quiet. Our favourite spot to enjoy was on the enormous patio that provided an exceptional view of Lake Como.

The villa itself was exceptionally clean and well appointed; the furnishings and decor were tasteful and pride of ownership was evident throughout. Recent renovations to the villa appear to have spared no expense as new windows, bathrooms, kitchen and appliances are higher end and have added welcome modern conveniences to this lovely space. We prepared many memorable meals in the kitchen which we enjoyed out on the patio as the sun set over the mountain.

The owner, Laura, was very friendly and supportive of our needs and especially accommodating in regards to personal recommendations for restaurants, markets, and local attractions. Carate Urio itself is very picturesque and there is a great little bar and restaurant about a 5 minute walk down the street. Eating there was our best dining out experience during our trip. Our cars were parked in the garage just past the restaurant. Initially we had trouble finding the place as the names of the restaurants nearby have changed, but other wise the pictures and directions that HHH provided were really helpful.

Overall, this villa exceeded our expectations and we were extremely satisfied. Thank you so much!
