A great place to have lunch or dinner, right on the lake. The food is great and the service is good. Enjoyed it very much.

Dropped in here for a late lunch and despite the hour being close to kitchen closing they were happy to accommodate us. The dining room is set in a giant glasshouse with stunning views of the lake that is fine in good weather and bad. The lunch menu is limited compared to the dinner menu (which looks fantastic) but we had some delicious pasta's which were relatively simple but very flavoursome. Kind of what you'd expect in this part of the world. That being said the service was extremely attentive and the bread which was brought out before the meal along with whipped butter and olive oil was exceptional. The highlight really came from the desert (dolce) as the restaurant's name suggests which was served despite the kitchen being closed. My wife had an interpretation of an after eight which was like a mint mousse within a dark chocolate bomb like encasing. It was lovely but my desert came out looking like something from a Michelin starred kitchen with three types of soil (chocolate pistaccio and I think honeycomb) with rasperries and slivers of chocolate on top alongside pea shoots and a lemon sorbet I think with sweet pea flowers. Then it came with a juniper reduction on top which was poured at the table. I'd recommend this place if you have an adventurous palate and like a stunning view but it was a little more expensive than average.

The setting of this restaurant is hard to beat, right on the lake side. However it was half empty and lacked atmosphere and it was a little cold. The menu was quite limited but the food was beautifully presented and interesting although portion sizes were small. One of our party had the duck which was over cooked but all the fish dishes and starters were excellent as were the petits fours to finish. The service was attentive and professional. We felt the bill was on the high side for what we had.

Unbelievably delicious ~ fantastic meal & couldn't fault a thing! The quality Prosecco, the Caprese starter, salted Cod main and A Walk in the Woods dessert! We were also there to celebrate our 25 wedding anniversary and it was also the original venue for our wedding reception. Thank you to Simone & her staff who make us feel so welcome.

I expected the food to be lousy as the restaurant is so beautiful. Muted grey and beige settings with glass everywhere - allows the green and the water to fill the restaurant. With the wait staff dressed in black, - it feels New Yorkish - There is a bit of an attitude which I saw as trying to give exceptional service - which they do.

Food was terrific. I enjoyed lake fish and risotto. Wine list is strong and priced well.

Parking is a bit of a trick so if you are driving - stop in the restaurant and ask where to park. English is second nature to most of the staff.

The view - it is just simply gorgeous.
There is no "Outdoor" seating really - the entire restaurant is glass so the outdoor is in.
