Description: Arriva restaurant is a family restaurant in Lakka Paxos. Owned by Harula and Theodor. Is located in the seafront of Lakkas harbour, with an amazing view and an absolutely romantic sunset. The restaurant serves fresh fish and seafood daily. Harula picks the best fish and seafood from the fishing boats and bisplays them happily in the fish cabinet for lunch and dinner. She also explains to everyone which is the best way to cook every fish and of course how much it costs. Other choices of the restaurant is FRESH Seafood like kalamari fried or grilled or stuffed. Octopus grilled or in vinegar. Shrimps grilled or saganaki. Mussels and clamps in wine and garlic or saganaki. Small fish like Anchovies or Sardines. You can also try some of the local specialities of the island like Skorpion fish Mpourdeto (cooked with tomato, paprika &garlic ), fish Bianko (a white sauce of lemon and garlic ),Beef Sofrito and Cuttlefish Krassato. For the meat lovers also plenty of choices to try.

We had our 50th anniversary here with friends. The service was superb, the food same old tourist fare. Where oh where can you get real Greek food? We had sea food sphagetti , too much pasta in a strong tomatoe sauce. The prawns were great but there were only 2 in the dish. I wouldn't splash out there again.

Delicious fresh seafood and a lovely atmosphere right beside the harbour.

Enjoyed the baked feta with black sesame seeds and honey and the grilled garlic king prawns for starters and awesome grilled squid and slow cooked lamb for main course.

Friendly and helpful service and great house wine.

Try the ouzo!
