We had an amazing whale watching tour with these guys. We reserved through WhatsApp and communication was very smooth. Our first tour was canceled due to bad weather, so we went they day after. They arrang pick up from your hotel and offer anti Seasickness pills. As soon as you arrive on the boat they serve you breakfast, coffee, tea and delicious cookies. During our trip staff gave a lot of information about the whales and we finally saw 2 whales. What I really liked about this company is that they stay around the whales for a maximum of 30 minutes and on an appropiate distance to minimize stress for these animals. As the sea was really rough that day half of the people on the boat were seasick. The staff of Raja and the whales looked after every single person and took care of them. On our way back to the shore we were offered more food and drinks. As it was quite hard to take photos during the tour with our own camera because of the sea, we were glad that they send you the photos through e-mail afterwards.

Raja and the Whales take a lot of care of the whales. They are really concerned about the enviroment and this is a very important fact when you want to watch whales but you don't want to hurt or put stress on them. Most of the companies use sonars to catch the whales atention but they don't use them.

We were very lucky and we saw four whales. When they see the whale the boats goes closer to it slowly and with the enginee off in order to avoid disturbing them. They take good pictures of the whales so you don't have to be worried about carrying your camera or phone.

Besides, the boat crew take a lot of care of the costumers they are really nice and helpful. The breakfast is great.

In conclusion, it was a great experience and if I come back to Mirissa I will repeat the experience with them.

We were very lucky and we got to see three whales! But the best of all the trip was definitely the love and respect of the crew for the animals!

This company is really good. The staff is experienced and is good at spotting whales. Thanks to them we saw around seven to ten whales. They also explain how they can predict where the whales are gonna come up next. The staff has a lot of respect for the whales, they come close but not too close. They keep a healthy distance. On the way to the whales we saw two other whale watching boats, they we stuffed with people. On our boat we only had a few people which was really nice. On the top deck there were no chairs but instead there were foam cushions to chill on. Another thing which was nice was the fact that the staff took enough time, the tour didn't feel rushed. There number one goal isn't making money but giving you a memorable experience. Another thing to note is that the breakfast was really good! If you want to go whale watching don't hesitate go to Raja!

We were recommended this company by a friend as they are sustainable, local, & put the safety of the wildlife in the sea on equal measure to that of the humans on the boat.

Not only is the service excellent (great breakfast & snacks provided throughout the trip) but they provide several guarantees if you are unfortunate enough to not see any whales - check out their website.

We were incredibly lucky the day we went & saw 8-9 whales and over 1000 dolphins! I realise this is incredibly fortuitous and cannot be guaranteed & essentially has nothing to do with the company, BUT the company do bring a professional photographer on each trip & share the photos afterwards with you for free and most importantly, the staff encourage you to experience the wildlife with your own eyes, rather than through a lens, which my partner & I were big fans of!

100% recommend this company, for the sustainability alone. Everything else was a great bonus.
