So we saw one whale but four times!!

We’d had a recommendation about Raja and the Whale team so decided to go with them.

The crew were amazing and gave us some really lovely food/fruits! They even took care of a few people that were suffering badly with sea sickness!

Registration process was great too! They gave us some sea sickness tablets just incase so we took them and I’m glad I did!

When we saw the whale is was absolutely incredible! They knew how to approach the whale and were very knowledgeable and informative! They also work with scientists to help protect them!

So glad we chose Raja and the Whale tour! Would definitely recommend!

They are also lovely enough to send us the photos that they took on their big camera on the same day! iPhones do not do the Whale justice so that was really nice when we got their photos!

Thanks again guys!

DO NOT GO IN SEPTEMBER!!!

We were 10 people on the boat, 8 of us (including myself) got a really bad sea sickness. It was a continious nightmare of 7 hours. You also just see the whales for less than a minute from 200 meters away.

We took a trip with raja and the whales this morning and would definitely recommend. Despite the fact it was a stormy morning with lots of rain, the crew still took us out on to the ocean, persevered with the elements. We ended up seeing 5+ sightings of blue whales which was amazing!! The crew were so friendly and accommodating - the waves were very choppy which meant that seasickness was inevitable but the crew did everything they could to help. There was tea/coffee & biscuits on board as well as a fruit plate & a full cooked breakfast.

Truly Raja & The Whales deserve their high ratings. They made sure that we are comfortable. They gave us fruit s, tea and coffee for breakfast. Too bad I was not able to take photos of the wonderful playing. I also do not have to worry about taking good shots of the dolphins that I saw as they assured us that they will email us the photos, which they did on the same day. We did not see any blue whale which was fine with me as the whales can go wherever they like. We are just visitors hoping to see them in their vast home. The use of our time were also very efficient. They explained that they have radioed other boats who were in another area. Also no whale sighting. I appreciate that we did not roam around aimlessly since they are the experts and has decided that today is not a lucky day. A portion of our payment was returned to us. I didn't expect this as it was not the operator's fault.
I very much enjoyed my experience and will try again my luck with the whales with this company the next time that I am in Mirissa.

This company is amazing; My friends and I had the best time. Great staff, they serve you food while you get to the area where the whales and dolphins are. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and they have professional photographers on board. I got to see blue whales and dolphins super close up!!! Highly recommend.
