Marissa Hills is located high above the hustle and bustle of Marissa beach area. It’s a beautifully crafted architect designed retreat with stunning views to the east and west. We enjoyed six delightful nights at Mount Cinnamon along with brilliantly crafted Sri Lankan food full of complex spice and leaf flavours. The staff we really helpful and attentive as required but not overly hands on so as to crowd our personal space. The pool was perfect for cooling off in and the garden large enough for guests to find privacy. I highly recommend a stay in the Mount Cinnamon rooms.

Amazing!! My favourite place that I stayed in Sri Lanka - attentive service, amazing food and great for relaxation.
If you are wanting some time out after a busy schedule, Mirissa Hills is perfect. I didn’t want to leave!

We stayed here end of April for 2 nights and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere away from hectic city life. Being away from the crowded beach on a hill was exactly right for relaxation and a small celebration. Felt very homely. Staff was friendly and helpful and the food flavorsome and nicely presented. The view from the hill was stunning! Very special place!

We were booked to stay in the museum, but were upgraded to the Mount Cinnamon suite when we arrived. This had a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside and was very spacious. We didn’t have any food or breakfast at the hotel, as we left early in the morning for whale watching. It’s a 40 minute walk into Marissa. The only problem with the hotel is that it’s up a long, unpaved road up a hill, and cars struggle to get up it. The tuk tuk we got back home in the eve nearly didn’t make it up the hill!

Mirissa Hills is a beautiful retreat, away from chaotic roads of Mirissa. The air is cooler as you are on a hill, the view is splendid, rooms are clean and nicely decorated, food is delicious, the staff is kind and helpful, there are two swimming pools, cinnamon tour of the plantation is available for the guests. We extended our stay to 6 nights as we loved it so much. So we definitely recommend it.
