Not as grand as it looks....The lovely photo of Eastwood Hall is merely a building you drive past to get to the hotel. The rooms are all in a block reached by long corridors.
This is not what we call a luxury hotel. It's a pleasant overnight stop with hardworking staff. They seemed to be constantly apologising for the wait for our food and drink, and the noise from the very loud wedding music and guests who took over the hotel
bar area for the whole evening. The staff did everything they could to make our experience better, moving us to a quieter bedroom immediately at our request.
I would only recommend this place if you need an average bed, breakfast and evening meal and particularly need a place where you can swim, sauna and jacuzzi.
And check there isn't a wedding going on!

I'd requested a larger bed or a twin, We were offered a twin and at £55 a night without breakfast I thought that was good. On booking in we were told we could have b/fast for £10 each, turned out the buffet was pretty good apart from the tired looking eggs. We ate out most times, but, as it was our anniversary decided to eat at the restaurant. This in hind sight was not a good idea, it was Sunday night, they had a wedding on. I was assured service would not be affected by this. Wrong. It took a reasonable time for starters to arrive, but over 1hr 30min for the main course after that....food cold, small portions, sauces never arrived for the chips and extra role didn't either. Lots of others complaining....it's a shame...4 star. Not hotel and definitely not the diner food.....sorry. We did get 50% knocked off the meal and drinks and quite right too.

Nice hotel and spa in a lovely park set location well away from the road.
Had a super evening meal and breakfast and the room was very clean.
The spa and swimming pool were of a good standard.
    Would recommend.

Having stayed 4 nights on a half board deal with a three course meal and wine we thought we'd got a really good deal - but three out of the four nights we had to wait on several nights for 45 minutes to get our starter and then another half hour to get the main course and having to return the food as either cold or inedible - we complained to the manager who just passed the comments of as being busy - on checking out we also complained to the desk - who just hung his head and said 'I'm afraid sir we have had numerous complaints about the restaurant and the poor service.' The hotel other than that was good and comfortable although the bathroom was in need of a refurbishment with mold spots in the silicone around the bath - unfinished paintwork around the door frame etc. Breakfast was alright although very repetitive. The facilities like pool area and grounds were good however, but left disappointed having had such a poor experience with the meals.
