“Had a wonderful peaceful time, right on the beach”
Reviewed 14 January 2010

We had such a good time we are going again in April this year and taking extended family with this time. Where else can you find a place right on the beach and only 10min to Noosa. The staff are always friendly and the townhouses were tastefully furnished and had everything you needed. Highly recommended.

We wanted to stay close to Noosa but were apprehensive because of the rates published. until we found Glen Eden. It was the right choice. The location is superb, right on the beach. The units are older, but clean and well appointed. With a short walk through the reserve, staying in the sea facing apartments is very nice. There are apartments around the pool, but I would not recommend those as you may have the noise from kids the whole day.
Glen Eden is a good place for young families but also not so young families. We travelled with our teenage kids and they loved it.
The hotel offers a good value wireless internet service.
Phil was friendly and helpful. The drive to Noosa is only 15 KMS. Perigian is a friendly village with a market on the weekends and a live safers club for nice and cheap dinners overlooking the sea.
Glen Eden and Perigian come highly recommended, but maybe I should not write this so it remains a secret.

We loved the Glen Eden Beach Resort. The location was great, the pool was awsome, and the beach was a short distince through some bush (not rainforesty, but lovely). All the apartments are 2 story, and there is aircon only on the bottom floor (which has the kitchen/lounge room). This was a problem for us, as we specifically asked for aircon, not realising we would be sweating it out at night. Our apartment did not have fly screens, so we couldn't leave the doors open (as we have a toddler). We had to drag a mattress down from upstairs so our toddler could sleep in the aircon in the day for his nap.
You can ask for a room around the pool, or away from the pool.
We asked for a renovated room, but I think they are all the same (ours was not great).

We stayed in the three bedroom apartment with two kids and my mother.
The apartment was perfect - roomy enough for all of us not to get in the way of each other.
BBQ by the pool - pool temperature was perfect! Nice and tepid warm which was great for me!
Beach was throwing distance away and the walk through the mini forest was exciting - kids imaginations went wild!
We had a wonderful time at this place - we are thinking of coming back - thats for sure!

Probably the most relaxing family holiday we've had. The Glen Eden Beach Resort has lovely family-style two-story units with kitchen, lounge, laundry etc. in a private, gardened setting. There is a great pool and spa pool and it is only a 50 m walk to the ocean beach, without having to cross any roads. We were able to swim in the sea before breakfast! The adults were able to sit back and completely relax, knowing the kids were safe and happy. Peregian Beach had a good surf club for meals and it was only 10 minutes North to Noosa. For an affordable, relaxing, comfortable and attractive holiday setting, we can't think of any better place on the Sunshine Coast than the Glen Eden Beach Resort. We missed it as soon as we left.
