“Great weekend with the Family”
Reviewed 23 May 2013

Booked into spacious ground floor apartment with Mum, Sis, Brother in law and the dog and had a great long weekend. Located across the road from a beautiful beach which we had to ourselves most days. Well looked after pool around the back too. This place is perfect to cook a family meal if you prefer to stay in after a hard day in the sunshine. Rooms are a decent size and modern furniture.

Definitely recommend for a relaxing get away.

Spent a very relaxing Easter at Horizons. The location is great, being able to walk across the road to the beach with the dog and it is only a short walk into the peregian shops to get a coffee in the morning.

Thanks heaps guys ! Horizons is one of the rare beach front properties on the Sunshine Coast that welcomes pets. Being directly opposite a dog friendly beach it is an ideal location to enjoy a holiday with you 'best' friend. We are restricted to accommodating one dog only up to 10KGs.

Great get away, relaxing place to stay away from Brisbane, location, location, location, Rod is a great host and very accommodating. Spa hygiene clean would be good as well as enough hot water to fill it up above the jets

Hi Peter,
Thanks heaps for your review. We do go the extra mile to make sure all of our guests enjoy their holiday at Horizons.
We have attended to the problem with the spas in the Penthouses so that the water flow now is quicker and fills the bath without the water going cold. At the same time we have sanitized the piping which is normally done every three months.
We look forward to your return visit

My husband and I had booked into another beach house that was pet friendly and upon arriving we were disappointed to see it was very unclean. So at the last minute we called Horizons and We were offered a penthouse at a very reasonable price. We could not of been happier, Rod was very helpful and we even stayed an extra night. The property is amazing as its set right across from the beach, it's less than a minute drive to the town square and it has all the mod cons you could want. We will definitely be back to explore more of the coast.

Thank you Melissa,
We do appreciate your effort in submitting a review on Horizons.
Indeed the nearby Peregian Village is an amazing asset to our area. We recently hosted a travel writer from Berlin who was very excited to visit the Baked Poet Cafe where to his amazement featured lots of German foods and specialties. Also the Pitch Fork Restaurant is one of the most popular and highly rated eatery in Noosa
Looking forward to your return visit

Have just returned from a two night stay in unit 15 which we paid a large amount of money for per night. Large spacious rooms with great air conditioning. However, for the money paid the expectation was not met. Rather outdated fridge had gaffer tape on broken shelf with note to not place any heavy items on it not what one would expect to have in a four star unit. Fridge had to be slammed shut to ensure it worked. No sugar sachets, no toilet paper. Out door Jacuzzi was in actual fact an interior spa bath only suitable for one person. Curtains in lounge room stained. Had to move lounge to retrieve an earring that had rolled under it and found it to be dirty and dusty. Such a nice quiet location but my advice is don't pay for the penthouse or perhaps not unit 15 in particular. We felt very badly ripped off. Images avail if anyone would like to see.

Room Tip: Check rooms upon arrival and ensure basic supplies such as tea coffee toiletries etcbare fully suppl...

We wish to thank the reviewer for bringing some matters of concern to our attention.
The problem with the fridge was that the model was out of production and we could not replace the shelves. Last month the owner has completely up-graded the unit with a repaint, new fridge, bed coverings and light fittings.
If there were any issues of cleaning we invite the guests to report these to us during their stay just in case the cleaners have not done their job properly.
As these particular guests stayed during our busy holiday season when occupancy was at 100% we apologise if anything was missed due to a quick turn around.
We have always enjoyed excellent reviews on trip on Tripadvisor and pride ourselves with personal service and presenting a very tidy property with great gardens and facilities.

Rod was very helpful and friendly,
Perfect for us, in between Coolum and Noosa. Our family stayed for a week and hope to go back again.Rooms were VERY spacious and lovely and contained EVERYTHING you could want had a courtyard out the front and the beach across the road. Importantly for us they are dog friendly, not so easy to find!! Living and kitchen area huge and must say it felt like home. Recommend this place to anyone. Enjoy your stay and we know you will.

We just stayed here for three days and would definitely be back. It was a great place to stay and stepping into the unit we were amazed at how spacious it was, the living area was huge. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment on the second floor so had a balcony at both ends. The unit was fitted out really well, had everything you could possibly need. It was so close to the beach and only a very short drive to both perigian and coolum. The only slight improvement could be the bed but it was okay and you get that everywhere which has the beds that convert from singles to queens. But all up the place was great and excellent value for money. It had a nice pool area as well and small Barbie in the unit. We would thoroughly recommend this place.
