“Great, roomy apartment perfect for travelling with a dog!”
Reviewed 9 March 2009

We booked Horizons as it was pet-friendly, and it definitely exceeded our expectations! The apartment was large, clean and comfortable, with all the facilities we needed for our 4 day stay. The nearby park and pool area out the back were fantastic as well, and we loved the relaxed feel of Peregian itself (less hectic than nearby Coolum or Noosa). We were looking forward to a chilled out, relaxing holiday with our dog and Horizons certainly delivered!

Rod and staff great, level 3 spectacular views, parking easy, relaxed easy going, very clean, great place for a break, have returned for holidays for last 5 years, close to Coolum with good shopping and restaurants. Only extra we could recommend was that kitchens required enough cutlery and plates so that you did not have to use dishwasher after every meal. Other wise all great.

Unfortunately we had only one night there on the way to Fraser Island, I wish we had more time... Lovely location, really suitable for family stay, specially if you dont want the hustle and crowd of surfers paradise any more. The beach is only a few steps away on the other side of the road, behind a protective bushbelt.

We had a nice spacious appartement, very clean, and well equipped. Looked a bit better in real than the photoes!
Nice hospitality. Nothing to criticize. I would really go back there, if it weren't on the other side of the world.

Based on the good experience here (and we also stayed in a Mantra Appartement house in Agnes Water) I have really changed my mind on staying at hotels all the time. Will definitely look for something similar for future holidays...

It was our first holiday away together and we couldn't have picked a better place.
Rod (the manager) was very very hospitable, introducing us to other visitors, organising get together dinners, and helping us with local places to visit.
The apartment was huge and overlooked the pool and park with large balconies and air con bedrooms, full facilities for cooking (not that we did) and laundry.
The pool area was great and we spent many hours in it. Plenty of things to do and see.
We'll be back there again. :-)

Stayed for two nights in the first week of Janurary 2009. We were greeted warmly by the Propreiter and taken to our apartment. We stayed in Unit 9 - a fantastic apartment with two blaconies, one facing the beach and the other the national park. The beach is a stroll accross the road through a perfectly nice park. Apartments are clean, roomy and well furnished. The kitchens come fully equipped with everything you might need to be entirely self sufficient. Peregian Beach village is a very short drive and has a good selection of restaurants cafes and bars. The pool and spa at the rear of the property is clean and big enough for a relaxing dip. Barbeque facilities are also on hand around the pool or in your unit. The management team made us feel really welcome and armed with some local knowledge we were able to make the most of our time at Horizons. Thoroughly enjoyable stay and we will be back for a longer stay this year.

Purchased this 4 night stay via EBay - management were extremely friendly and thoughoughly enjoyed my massage and
the bottle of wine as part of the package. Unit a little tired and a couple of things wrong but very spacious and well appointed. Would love to go back again this year.

We booked this place off wotif.com, but were disappointed to find that the advertisement was a bit misleading. It was advertised as a 2 bedroom air-conditioned unit....the bedrooms had air-con, but not the living area, where we spent most of our time. This may not apply to all units in the complex and if we were to stay there again we would check first.
Apart from that, it was a great location, beach is across the road, 2 mins walk if that, apartment was clean and nicely furnished, close to shops (walk or drive). Quiet location.

  • Liked — Location, close to beach, apartment was modern and clean
  • Disliked — No air-conditioning in the living area
