My husband Rob and I stayed at Casa Granadina for two nights, Rosie made us both feel so very welcome and her house is beautiful. Having lived in rural Spain for four years and visited many different parts of the country, the Axarquia region still takes my breadth away being so very green and tropical.

I would recommend Casa Granadina for a truly relaxing break, with wonderful walks on the doorstep, fantastic scenery, and the experience to stay in an old traditional spanish finca.

A truly restorative break with good food, excellent off the beaten tracks walks. Any one for jaw dropping views, clouds of butterflies unusual photo opportunities of sheep and goats coming down from the hills. Well you got em!!
Adventure garanteed on the walks with enough time to chill and indulge in a game of Scrabble if you are so inclined.
Don't miss out the sunrise and sunsets. Highly recommend the overall experience!

Just back from another completely wonderful week at Casa Granadina. Felt thoroughly spoiled and completely restored... Room great, cottage great, scenery great.
Rosie was a fantastic hostess and cook and scoped out and lead some wonderful walks and the whole week was completely chilled.
Can't recommend Casa Granadina and Rosie's hospitality highly enough!
Look forward to returning again soon.

We were only here for two nights but....enjoyed it as not many places around the world have enjoyed us so far! The warmth and hospitality of Rosie, the verry charming cottage, cosy atmosphere, good beds and....splendid breakfast made us feel at home. Layd in a small village were rural and authentic life just passes by.... Perfect combination with the beautiful surroundings with lots of hiking posibilities, the little town of Comares watching you from up the hill, and also a little ( verry nice) little restaurant at about 30 minutes walking...just perfect. Really to be recommended, this is the real Spain!

After having spent a couple of days in Marbella I escaped the city and found myself at Rosie's warm and friendly house. She was a wonderful host and very helpful in organizing my visit. The white typical andalusian house is lovely, food simple and tasty with tomatoes, lemons, pumpkins and avocados picked directly from the garden. The room was clean and nice, the bed comfortable. Although Casa Grenadina is hidden in the calm of the mountains, it is about 40 min drive from beach and about 2 hours drive from the major cities to visit in the region. Rosie can organize anything you need from hiking and horse riding to chinese massage and sushi delivery. It was a wonderful time and I will definitely return to visit my positive and warmhearted Rosie again.

It has been our last days of 3.5 weeks in the South of Spain but it was a gorgeous ending of our vacation. Beside the very warm welcome of Rosie the location is simply greate. Although within the mountains it's just 35-40min to the beach and about 50min to Antequera. Also the villages around are definitely worth a visit. The breakfast... well, go there and see yourself ;-)

Room Tip: The rooms upstairs become warm during July/Aug

Our young family recently spent 3 nights with Rosie and Win at the Casa Granadina. After a busy couple of weeks traveling around Andalusia it was the perfect place to relax and unwind before we headed home. The surrounding scenery is stunning, the house is charming and Rosie was a great host. Breakfasts were abundant and delicious and we were made to feel extremely welcome and comfortable...which isn't always the case when you're travelling with a 17 month year old. Highly recommended for families and well just about everyone else!
