This is a very nice hotel in a perfect location near the forest. Many items have been designed by famous artists and it can surely justify the characterization "boutique".
Everything inside the hotel is new and modern. The view from the outside though is not the best according to my opinion.
The rooms are really nice but I have to admit that they are much more like double rooms rather than suites ,since they are rather small!
The stuff is very friendly always willing to help and serve in the best way.
The breakfast is quite good .
Our room was at the 1st floor but we faced some problems with the noises since there were many children in the hotel. Next time we will bring our daughter with us because the place is ideal for families mostly. Overall we ve had a very nice expirience and I would recommend the place.

Room Tip: Ask a room which is far from the stairs.

Seleni Suites is a hotel with a minimal and very classy style. It is close to Vytina and has a great view to the village and to Mainalo mountain. There are plenty of places to read your book with an excellent vies to the mountain, drink something, playing cards or watching TV without annoying the others. There is also a great children playroom offering to parents some moments of ...silence. The rooms were beautifull and the breakfast very satisfying
I strongly recommend Seleni Suites for anyone who wants to spend some quality time in one of the most beautifull places in Greece, Arcadia.

I travelled to the area with my husband and my two children, and stayed at this hotel which was highly recommended by a friend. We were impressed by the location as we could take long walks, and the view was breath taking looking over the whole Vitina valley. But also staying in the hotel was a fantastic experience as the facilities offered were of very high standard. The family rooms were very spacious as they are in fact two rooms together separated by a door, so it also could give us privacy during the night. The kids were excited with the playroom facilities and spent a lot of their time playing, therefore, my husband and I could enjoy our drink in front of the modern fireplace. There was a large variety of traditional goods for breakfast. The only disappointing thing is that smoking was allowed in all of the hotel's public areas. I believe there should be an area provided for smokers only.

Dear SamanthaGlass,

thank you for your review.

About smoking policy we assume that you meant to write that smoking is NOT allowed in all public places.
We understand that in bad weather, it is annoying for smokers to step outside in order to smoke.
When this is the case we exceptionally allow smoking in the semi-open area behind the bar.

Best regards

General opinion of this place can be summarised with the following phrase. Good effort but must try harder.

The rooms were spacious, airy and clean with nice views as were the common areas. The staff generally were well meaning and polite. The connecting rooms were great for families with two kids or more , we have three and generally the hotel is one of the few kid friendly options in the area. Breakfast was of decent quality

So what let the whole experience down for us ? The little things. For example depending on who you asked dinner either started at 7 , 8 or 8.30. We went at 7.15 waited ten minutes to get served in a basement without Any heating and left. The basement was not even heated for breakfast I guess to save money. We put our towels on the floor on the bathroom indicating that they should be replaced, and they were not , again I guess in a drive to cut costs. There was no food except for toast during the day. The service generally was well meaning but slow and unprofessional. You just got the impression that management did not run a tight ship. For this pricing you expect better.

It's clear generally that winter hotels that mostly cater to less demanding domestic visitors and who don't work with big tour operators who demand certain levels of service have some issues.

This is not a bad hotel but just needs to up its game to justify the price. Not planning to return.

Dear Phildrag,

thank you for taking the time to write this review. We believe that a complaint is a gift.
It gives us the opportunity to improve.
About our heating, our hotel is equipped with a state of the art heat monitoring system which ensures that temperature in all public areas of the hotel never drops from 24°C.
The majority of our customers ask us to lower the temperature in public areas.
For us all customers, regardless of the source of market-either individual or tour operators, are precious and deserve top quality service.
We put our own standards and always try to exceed customer's expectations, by offering them personalized service.
We're sorry that we have not met your expectations to the level that we would like to.

Loved Seleni Suites! Our room was spacious and had one of the most beautiful bathrooms we've seen so far. We were impressed by the baby cot they brought for our son; complete with a good quality mattress and beautiful bedding. Although there was also a single bed for our daughter, the room was exterely spacious. The hotel offered a great playroom for the kids and baby sitting service so it's a good place for families. The restaurant was just OK but nothing special about it. The hotel lobby was nicely decorated and is a great place to have coffee, snacks and drinks in the afternoon or evening. Staff was friendly, polite and helpful.
We can't wait to go back next time we choose Vytina for our holidays.
