I stayed in this hotel 2-3 times and will go back. The location is amazing without breaking the bank - only 2 mins walk to the JR Osaka gate without going outdoor. It can connect to other subway and train system too. 1 minute walk to supermarket. 5 minutes walk to a busy street filled with restaurants. It is always clean and tidy. The staff are polite and able to communicate with basic English. I cannot ask for more for this price range.

The bathroom may be small for some people, but I am used to traveling in Japan. It is just typical business hotel size for bathroom. We always stay in the room with a double bed, and there is plenty of space to open 2 luggage at the same time - this is spacious when you are talking about business hotels in Japan.

The only advantage of this hotel is that its very close to Osaka Station just 2mins walk.

Apart from the good location, theres nothing so good about this hotel.
The room was very small and the breakfast spread was not so attractive.

But last but not the least- the hotel staff was cordial and pleasant and very helpful

Love the round structure of the hotel building. Hotel is very accessible, right beside Osaka station. The room is small, but most Japan hotel rooms are around the same size. I love the bathroom though. It was clean, with stylish bathroom amenities provided. The lobby and lift area is really quite small, which can get squeezy when there's a crowd. But the upside is a Starbucks right beside. The hotel is actually connected to the underground walkway (with restaurants and shops) to the train station and shopping malls in the area, which is good even in bad weather.

Stayed in Osaka Daiichi Hotel for 3 nights and found the hotel to be an average hotel.
Whilst the hotel has its pros, such as :
- the hotel being in walking distance from Osaka station
- a double bed room has got adequate space
- clean living quarters and bathroom
- quiet part of down

It also has quite a few cons:
- room dramatically heats up when the lights are turned on. The air con doesn't actually do much.
- the rooms are quite old and dated
- the smell of smoke lingers in the room (even though we requested a non smoking room)

Overall an OK place to stay if the purpose is for a roof over your head.

Room Tip: Request a non smoking room and on a high floor to reduce noise
